Manik's pov

I made nandini sit on the bed after coming down from the arena...

Me: you okay?

She nodded before saying...

Nandini: manik something is itching on my neck...

I frowned and removed her hair from the back to her shoulder and bending a knee on the bed i looked at her back still being in her front... i touched her necklace and she hissed holding my arm.....

Nandini: ish manik!

I took a breath and slowly un did the necklace as she held my hand tightly... doing so i sat in front her showing her the necklace...

Me: i think this got scratched, let me get the ointment.

Saying so i opened the side drawer and taking the ointment i asked her who nodded her head with a smile and then i applied it there....

Sitting in frong her i held her hand and creased her ring... pulling her hand to my lips i kissed her fingers and then looked at her for a few seconds before telling her...

Me: the doctor called!

And in an instant her expression changed from happy to nothing...

Me: its a good news, she told me that your blood transfusion is going fine, they have to do that for two more days then you will be all fine!

I smiled at her with some tears... those were happy tears my baby was healing perfectly that gave me peace...

She looked at me with a look and i knew she was unsure... i just cupped her face and pecked her lips ever so lightly and then said keeping me forehead on her's...

Me: my princess is all fine!

I looked at her who finally gave me a smile owing to this topic... the fear she had in her was fading away... the thought the doctors had for her were all wrong... she is going to survive for me... i kissed her forehead after which she asked...

Nandini: and the operation?
Me: i will see to it and will let you know!

She blinked her eyes and we sat there for a while before the girls bragged inside my room and literally threw me out... i nodded in disbelief and was about to go down when the door was opened yet again making me turn... and i saw all of them out.... when jeff came to me and said to me slowly...

Jeff: she don't need our help! Go and be fast!

She said the later part loudly pushing me inside... coming inside i locked the door and turned to see nandini sitting...

Me: what happened now?

She rolled her eyes at me and said...

Nandini: plz na i am getting uncomfortable in this!

I chuckled and walking towards her bagpack took a long t-shirt with shorts and then waking back to bed pulled her to me holding her securely in my arm... while with the other hand opened the back strings... while doing so i asked...

Me: you can never be comfortable be anyone! Right?

She looked at me as i made her sit and she spoke...

Nandini: i Don't know y, i mean yea they are girls and my friends, but I can't!

I smiled and kissed her head before making her wear her shorts and then made her sit on the bed... I remembered she told me about NewYork how she never took anyone's help in doing anything... but to her saying i made her depended on me even to move from one place for another... thou I don't mind it...

Me: makeup?
Nandini: they will do!

I nodded and walked to the door as i opened the look I listened her call!

Nandini: manik!

I turned my head to see her who gave me a flying kiss saying...

Nandini: I Love You!

I smiled and saying it back walked out while the girls took charge on my room....
