Y/n Pov

Travelling along the streets of New York in the middle of the night, scared some guy in a pale, smiley mask was going to jump out from behind a bush and bonk you on the head wasn't an experience you wished to repeat.

Wilbur looked incredibly aprehensive whilst Techno walked infront, practically asking someone to launch out from a dodgy alleyway.

Honestly, it wasn't as fun as you thought it would be.

Walking around a large city in the middle of the night that is.

Considering it was verging on pitch black, there were actually a lot of people out and you weren't quite sure if that was normal.

It would take so long to get from point A to point B in America as everything was so far apart and you had zero sense of direction, or even a vague plan.

And, you had to go all the way from New York to Texas (A/n: driving is about 26 hours non-stop, no traffic, constant speed and practically perfect travelling )

You usually left that stuff up to Techno.

Also, it seemed America wasn't known for its travel since there were literally no routes whatsoever.

Considering this had been Tubbo's plan, he looked the least comfortable out of the rest of them as they neared a car hire.

"Woah! Guys! This is gonna be like a roadtrip!" Tommy exclaimed, looking thoughtful for a moment.

"CAN WE PLAY MUSIC REALLY LOUD?" He suddenly yelled, making the 'really', a lot longer than it needed to be.

"Tommy shut up" You hiss between your teeth as you near the 24-hour car hire.

The guy at the desk looked like he'd rather be anywhere else but here and honestly, you wished for that too.

"Hey, um, can we get just a simple...", Wilbur turned around to count us because apparently his brain wasn't functioning and fair enough, it was the middle of the night, "Like, a minivan...do you even have them here?"

The man gave Wilbur a scathing glare before turning around and rumaging through a drawer.

He pulled out a set of keys, similar to the hotel ones, which you'd dumped on the desk back at the hotel on your way out.

"In the back" The man grumbled as the group trooped past him.

When you say you couldn't see anything other than cars, you meant it.

Rows upon rows of different cars in colours varying from chrome silvers to tar black.

But, yours was pretty easy to spot.

A large black minivan with tinted windows and a small sunroof which had a blind over it.

"Hop in guys and let's get this party on the fucking road!"

Author notes:

I swear I didn't procrastinate that much we were just so close to one thousand reads and we've made it.

I can't express my appreciation here.
