Chap 1: The most beautiful night

Pov Andy

We arrived at Joe's bar after a 24-hour shift. I just wanted to unwind and have some fun with my friends whom I consider to be my family.

Vic: "Who wants a beer ?! "

The whole team responded at the same time: "Me! "

I helped Vic bring all the beers and we started to tell stories, it was so funny! Everyone started to get a little drunk ...

After an hour or two in the bar, I noticed such a handsome, tall man, totally my style. So, I waved to the girls, and I went to see him.

Andy: "Hi, what are you drinking? "

The guy: "Hi, I'm having a beer, and you? "

Andy: "Me too! Andy delighted! "

The guy: "Nice to meet you, I'm Robert."

Andy: "Well Robert, are you dancing? "

Robert: "I love to dance salsa"

Andy: "REALLY ?? !! "

OMG, this man is sublime, kind and on top of that, he dances salsa.

Robert: "Yes haha, that a problem?"

Andy: "I'm a salsa dancer, I love it !! "

* Robert takes Andy's beer and pauses on the bar then takes his hand *

Robert: "Do you want to dance with me? "

Andy: "With pleasure! "

Robert and Andy headed for the dance floor.

Meanwhile, Maya and Vic watched the scene from afar not believing it. They were dancing a sensual and dynamic dance that surprised everyone.

A few minutes later everyone found themselves on the dance floor alongside Andy and Robert. Robert was a little embarrassed not knowing anyone. When Enrique Iglesias's "Despacito" music ended, Robert returned to the bar having some business and walked over to Andy to say goodbye.

Robert: "I have to go, I hope to see you again one day, see you soon"

* Andy was completely drunk and didn't think to ask her for her number as she wanted so badly *

Andy: "See you soon, handsome!" "

Robert left and the team continued to dance until 3 am. They weren't working the next day, which is why they were able to come home so late.

The next morning

Everyone woke up at the same time and very late in Maya and Andy's apartment the headache medicine box was empty, all had taken one.

As they were making breakfast, Maya and Vic took Andy to their room to talk to her about what happened the night before.

Andy: "Girls, we have to talk about this now, my head hurts excruciatingly"

Vic and Maya: "Oh yes we have to! "

"What happened with this beautiful boy? », Vic asked.

Andy then began to blush which did not go unnoticed by the girls.

A: "I don't know, he's so attractive, he dances so well and.... OH NO!!!! I didn't ask him for his number, I only know his first name, how am I going to see him again !? "

Andy really started to be disappointed. The girls tried to reassure her as best they could, but nothing worked.

Pov Robert

I woke up this morning thinking about that evening I had spent, how I could forget it. I danced with the most beautiful woman in Seattle, but I only know her first name, nothing else, I don't know her number or her job. I was so mad at myself that I didn't ask him more questions ...

2 months later:

Robert and Andy had gone on with their lives as they had been before that wonderful evening, but neither could stop thinking about each other.

At the station, the announcement of a new Captain intrigued all the firefighters.

Who was going to be this captain? How will he integrate well into his new team?
