The first real love

Chap 6: Dinner

Andy had just arrived at Robert's when she got the message from Vic, she got out of her car in a hurry and ran to knock on the door of Robert's house. She knocked until Robert opened the door:

Robert: "hey, how are you? He asked her worried by her scared face.

Andy: "We have to go to the hospital now, Vic got a message from Doctor Gray"

The two then drove off in Andy's car to join everyone at the hospital. Andy tried the best she could to reassure Robert and show him that she was there for him. As she drove, Robert took her hand and kissed it, which made Andy smile.

Pov Robert

I texted Andy this morning to come and eat with me at noon, it would kind of be our first real date. I had put on dark gray jeans with a navy-blue shirt, and I had prepared the table with a white tablecloth, transparent plates, stemmed glasses and everywhere on the table I had put fleur-de-lys that I found it sublime and I hoped that she would like. As I finished the meal, I heard a knock on my door, I wondered who it could be Andy would never have knocked on my door so much, she would have waited for me to come and open the door for her, but if it was good Andy. When I opened, I saw her, scared, and she told me we had to go to the hospital for Lucas. The moment she told me this I started to panic. I turned off the oven where the food was heating and got into Andy's car. I was panicking, I couldn't lose my best friend, I already lost my wife. During the ride I took Andy's hand and kissed him, it was a sign to thank her for being there for me right now. I love her presence so much, she soothes me.

When we got to the hospital I let go of his hand and then we went to join Vic and the others.

Pov person

Andy had loved that moment together in the car, it wasn't much, but she loved being with Robert so much. As he entered the hospital, Andy hugged Vic and asked him what was going on.

Andy: "What happened Vic? Is he okay? "

Vic: "I don't know yet, Doctor Gray is coming to tell us," she said holding back all her tears, Vic wanted to look strong when deep inside she was devastated.

While Vic spoke with Andy, Sullivan sat next to Andy waiting for the Meredith. That's when she arrived after a 2-minute wait.

Dr Grey: "Sorry for the wait, Victoria your husband woke up" she said, and at that exact moment the whole moment let out a breath of relief.

Vic: "When can I see him please? "

Dr Grey: "You can go now he's waiting for you"

Then everyone went to Ripley's room and took turns entering, then after an hour we had to let Ripley rest, so everyone came out.

Vic returned with Maya; Dean, Jack, and Travis all returned home; Ben returned to him alone to join his family and Andy brought Robert back.

On the way back home to Robert's house both were silent, Robert had taken Andy's hand while she was driving, he needed comfort. Andy started talking after a few minutes.

Andy: "Are you okay? »She asked Robert.

Robert: "Yeah, I was so scared, I couldn't bear to lose him Andy..." he said as a few tears escaped his eyes.

Andy: "hey Robert I'm here it's going to be fine, he's awake now ok? She tried to comfort him as best she could.

Robert: "Andy thank you, thank you for being here"
