Chap 3: Réunion

Pov Andy:

I was sitting there at that sidewalk cafe, waiting for Robert to come in, I had an iced coffee for myself and an espresso for him. The weather was beautiful, blue sky and bright sun. After receiving my order and waiting a few minutes, Robert arrived. I found it even more beautiful than in this famous bar.

"Thanks for the coffee" he said with an embarrassed smile.

"No worries," I replied with the same embarrassed smile he did, then I asked him what he did for a living and at that exact moment I couldn't believe what he was telling me.

Robert: "I'm a firefighter, I was promoted to captain, but I don't know the station yet, and you?"

"Well, nice coincidence I'm also a firefighter at Station 19" I replied with a laugh, "How long have you been living in Seattle? "When I asked this question, I saw his face turn very sad,

"I'm sorry I have to go" he said to me getting up from his chair.

"Rob... Robert" I tried to catch up to him but couldn't see him anymore.

It was then that everything around me turned white, and then I saw a familiar face.

Pov Vic:

"Rob... Robert? I heard, that's when I looked up, my tears falling down my cheeks to see Andy opening his eyes slightly.

"Hey Andy, I'm here, it's Vic; I told her to reassure her; I'm going to get a doctor I'm coming "I left to find a nurse and ask her to call Doctor Gray.

As I walked back to Andy's room, I thought about what she said when she woke up "Robert", should I tell him he was the new captain or is it that I had to wait. Right now, I just texted Ryan to let him know, he told me he was coming as soon as he could.

Pov Person:

When Vic arrived in the room, the doctor was already examining Andy, so she stayed nearby. But Vic noticed Andy looked sad and upset, so when Meredith Gray left, she tried to talk to him.

Vic: "Hey Andy, are you okay? "

Andy: "Yeah yeah, I'm tired, I need to rest," she tried to deny knowing full well what was wrong. Vic, not wanting to tire her with his questions, decided to leave this topic for later.

Vic: "ok, I warned Ryan, he's coming as soon as he can" she said noticing that Andy wasn't listening, so she decided to shut up and support him in silence...

A few minutes later Ryan arrived in a state of stress, when Andy saw him arrive, she was happy but embarrassed, embarrassed that she had dreamed of Robert and really wanted to see him. She loved Ryan but not as much as he loved her.

Andy was going to have to stay another 4 days in the hospital, during those four days the whole team came to see her, Robert was dying to come but they had agreed with Vic that they would wait.

Andy had been back home for a week now, she was still living with Vic and Maya, and today the girls decided to tell her about Robert.

When Andy had just woken up, the girls brought breakfast to his room and started bringing it up.

"Andy, we need to tell you something" Vic started talking as he walked over to the couch next to Andy.

Andy: "Yeah, I'm listening to you, what's going on? »She replied, worried.

"The day you woke up was also the day the new captain arrived at the station" Maya said explaining to Andy.

Andy: "Oh yeah I completely forgot that a new captain had to be appointed, so who is it? Andy asked impatiently.
