Ps: Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy this chapter!! I'm sorry for the mistakes in my English...

8:30 a.m. This is the time the team was called in on their day off for a level 5 fire. When a level 5 fire occurs, all Seattle stations are in the field. Adrenaline is present in everyone.

When they arrived at the scene, Station 19 discovered the surreal scene. It all started with a cigarette butt thrown on the floor at a gas station, this one located right next to a shopping mall. The cigarette butt ignited the station causing numerous explosions from the gas cylinders and gasoline present at the scene. But the worst happened when the fire spread through the mall. There were many injuries, serious and less serious, and no fatalities at the moment which was good news for such an accident.

Upon arrival, Station 19 obtained a summary of the situation from Battalion Commander Ripley. Hughes, Miler and Bishop were put on a rescue mission, Ben and Montgomery helped the other firefighters on the aid cars while Gibson, Herrera and Sullivan took spears to put out the fire. Andy was still confused from the day before with Sullivan, but she decided to put everything aside and concentrate on her work.

After 20 minutes the three firefighters from Station 19 sent to rescue them were due out because the building threatened to collapse. As they were on their way out, all three heard a voice. After looking at each other for a long time, Hughes decided to go and fetch the victim alone, as Bishop and Miss Miler failed to hold her back or even come with her, they couldn't.

Once out, the two firefighters immediately warned Ripley of Hughes' exact location. The two had been married for almost a year now and everyone knew it and accepted it. Once Ripley learned of this information, he ran into the building risking his life for the life of his wife. When he found her carrying a woman, in her thirties who had passed out from lack of oxygen, Ripley ordered Hughes to get out asap, which she planned to do but before. that she asked him something as a woman.

"I beg you, get out quickly too and promise me not to hurt you," she said, looking him straight in the eye.

"I promise you my love" he replied.

Hughes then leaves quickly.

Meanwhile outside, all the firefighters were mobilized to extinguish the fire and treat the injured. Sullivan had seen Hughes come back but not Ripley, he immediately thought something was wrong, but that was before Hughes came to reassure him. She knew their friendship and had to tell him that Ripley was coming and was fine. Hughes' words reassured Sullivan but not for long, hearing an explosion the panic returned even stronger than before.

"Lucas can you hear me!? Answer me! Sullivan asked over the radio and everyone did the same.

They then set up a rescue plan to go get Ripley. Sullivan and Herrera would enter the building looking for him, guided by Hughes knowing approximately the chief's position.

Arriving at the site of the explosion they saw Ripley unmasked and unconscious with the victim next to him. She was wearing the ground firefighter's oxygen mask he had given her when he retrieved it. Herrera took care of the victim while Sullivan took care of the boss, his friend... Ripley had a very weak pulse, so it was urgent to get him out of this mall. Sullivan gave him his mask and warned the team to be ready with a help car. Once they got out, the victim and Ripley were transferred to the Gray-Sloan Memorial. The fire was then brought under control and they all returned to the station.

When they arrived no one spoke, all were in shock. Andy saw Robert go and lock himself in his office, she felt bad for him and knew that he and the boss were friends, so she decided to check on him before joining her friend Vic at the hospital. She knocked on her desk and coming in when he told her.
