Story 2

Chapter 6

(POV Norman)

Me, Emma and Ray ate some of the cookies, we left the rest for my parents. I invited Ray and Emma to go to my bedroom and they agreed.

- So what now? - asked Ray

- I don't know... - I answered.

- What about a game? - asked Emma.

- Sure - Said Ray.

- Why not? - I said smiling.

- Well... what are going to play? - Asked Ray to Emma.

- Hide and seek! -

- That's a good idea! - I said.

- Alright, do your parents play games with you too? - asked me Emma.

- Yeah, sometimes. -

- Good! Can they play with us now? -

- Actually, I don't know, I'll go ask my mother! -

I went to ask and they both said yes. I came back to my bedroom with them.

- So what game are you going to play? - Asked my mother.

- Hide and seek! - said Emma excited.

- I'm an expert at hide and seek! - said my dad. - I'll seek for you! -

- Yay! - Emma was really happy.

As soon as my dad began to count, we ran to find a good hiding spot. When he finished, the first person he found was my mother, she was really tall, so that was a disadvantage. Eventually he found Emma and me, but he didn't find Ray yet. After less than two minutes, he found him.

- You're a good hider Ray! - said my mother.

- Thank you... -

- I'll be the seeker now! - she said.

We all ran to find other hiding spots as soon as she started counting. She first saw Emma, then my father and then Ray.

- Ooooh I got you Ray! - she laughed softly. - Norman where are you? I'm going to find you! -

I was hiding behind the sofa. Several minutes passed and she found me.

- Aha! I found you! -

I giggled.

- I guess I'll have to seek now! - said Emma smiling as  there was no tomorrow.

We all ran again. She first saw me, I didn't really know where to hide, so I just hid in the first place I saw. Then she got my mother, then my father and then Ray.

- You have to seek now Norman! - said Emma.

- Yes! - I turned around and faced the wall, I heard their footsteps running away.

When I finished counting, I turned around and started looking, I first saw my mother, then Ray, then m father and then Emma.

- Aww...! I'm a really bad hider! - said my mother.

- No you're not! - said Emma.

- You're so kind Emma! I'll seek again! - she smiled.

We played some more rounds.

- Have to go! - said Ray.

- Nooo! - said Emma.

- It was a pleasure meeting you! - said my mother.

- Hope we see you again! - said my father.

- Yeah! Bye! - said Ray with a smile on his face.

He was... smiling?
