Chapter 8

(POV Ray)

I hurried to my locker and grabbed the necessary stuff, but my pencil case fell, it was open, which caused  all my material to fall on the ground. Everyone was looking at me, I also remember hearing some laughs, guess who was laughing? My past bully. His name is Marcus by the way.

- hAH! Look at you! - He laughed. - You look stupid! Hahahahaha! - He continued laughing.

I was trying not to cry in front of everyone. Suddenly Norman came.

- Is there any problem? - He said. - Hey Ray- - He stopped walking and stared at everyone, including me. - What happened? - He asked me politely.

- I accidentally  dropped my pen- pencil ca- case... - I was really embarrassed in that moment.

Norman walked towards me as I was trying to pick up the material that was laying around on the floor.

- May I help you? - He asked with a nice smile.

- U- uh.. Y- yeah s- sur- e... - I couldn't talk normally because of the embarrassment.

- How did you drop your pencil case? - He asked.

- I- I couldn't thin- think strai- ght.... -I replied, what was wrong with me?! I was blushing... because of him! 

- haha! - he giggled softly while he was helping me with picking up my stuff.

- Tsk! - Complained Marcus seeing his plan of embarrassing me was a fail (Sort of).

We walked to class and went to sit on our chairs.

When high school was over, he invited me to go to his place, but I said that I couldn't, I had to take good care of my mother and make sure that she took her pills.

I arrived home and saw her laying on the floor, I gasped and tried to wake her up, but it didn't work, I called 911, turns out she fell into a coma... Now I was alone... 

I cooked my own dinner, made homework and went to sleep. 

I felt... lonely....

Empty....

Unloved...
