6 months later...
Everything is so perfect now, Patrick has meet all my family when we went to a family party. My brothers definitely like him but there was an even better moment at that party, Jane and I were sitting on the bench watching all my family. It was at that moment when I first said the words "I love you" to him, he said "I love you too" it's time like that when I love him the most.
It has just been Jane's birthday. I had actually managed to surprise him with his present which was his favourite cup from the CBI, it got broken when the CBI was shut down. I managed to save all the pieces and glue them back together. I did not think that I could hide it from him from so long but he was genuinely surprised when I gave him the cup.
The day after his birthday I woke up next to him in his bed in his caravan. He woke up smiling, "last night was amazing" he told me "I love you so much". "I love you too Jane" I said.
We have to go back to work next week. nobody knows why we left I told them I got sick and the doctor gave me two weeks off to get better, they believed me. Jane got the time off as he only works cases with me now. We have just been staying at my place for the first week. Today he surprised me and said do you want to go on a small road trip, of course I did it would be so romantic me and him driving around seeing different sights.
One place we stopped at was a cute wooden house that looked more like a cabin, it was on a large piece of land with a beautiful lake in front of the house. I was wondering why we stopped here. Jane got out and sat on the top of the bank and asked I am coming or what.
