Chapter 20

Lisbon pov...
I get to go home today, I have spent the last three days in hospital after giving birth to the twins Charlotte and Simon.
I can't believe how cute they are. I was glad for the help I got at hospital but I just want to go home now.

Patrick walks into my room with two car seats so we can take the twins home. He asks me "are you ready to go?"
I nod and say "definitely"

We put the twins in their car seats and I sign the paperwork saying I am leaving now. I carry Charlotte and Patrick carries Simon down to the car. Once they are fastened in Patrick and I get in, Patrick drives carefully so the twins don't get hurt. We are halfway home when I think our life will be different at home now, but it will be so amazing.

We get home and the twins are sleeping Patrick and I take one each and place them in their cribs.

I sit down in a rocking chair in the room while Patrick goes and makes himself a tea and a coffee for me.
When he comes back he hands me my drink and sits in the floor next to me. He smiles and me and says "they are amazing, just like you".
We finish our drinks and put the cups down on the table when Simon wakes up screaming, I get up and pick him up to cuddle him. His screams were so loud that they woke up his sister, Patrick gets up and cuddles with Charlotte.

I go to change Simon when there is a knock on the door. Patrick says to me "don't worry I'll get it"

I finish putting Simon into a onesie that says "I cause more trouble than my dad", it so cute and funny because Patrick gets into a lot of trouble at work.

I walk out to the lounge where Patrick is and Grace and Wayne are there admiring Charlotte. I pass Simon to Grace and she laughs when she reads his onesie, she looks at me and says "I don't think that it would be possible for him to be more trouble than his dad"
I nod at her and then Charlotte starts to cry, Patrick hands her to me and says "I think she might be hungry"
I smile and walk to her room so I can breastfeed her and put her in a onesie that I didn't know we had, on it it had a pink crown and the words 'angry little princess'.

I go back out and hand her to Wayne and he when he reads her onesie he says "I think your daughter took over your nickname"

Patrick says "Teresa will always be my angry little princess".

I laugh and whisper something to Patrick, he nods and Grace is looking confused.
I then say "Grace and Wayne we would like you to be Charlotte and Simon's godparents"
They smile and Grace says "we would love to"

We sit there talking until Simon got hungry, Grace hands him to me and says "Wayne and I should go home now but we will see you all again soon"
Wayne passes Charlotte to Patrick. Patrick and I say bye to Grace and Wayne.

Sorry for the long wait, I ran out of ideas for this book so I worked on other but I got a few ideas for this book now, I hope you like it.
