Chapter 41: Questions

As we search deeper in the Dungeon hearing the sound of the water drip. Making an eco, chains moved clicking on each other as the cold breeze. All her prisoners are dead blood is spilled all around as we see their insides exploded. Or their limbs ripped off into pieces.

"This assassin showed no mercy means they do not pity another person." The Queen finally spoke looking at every cell. "Yeah, and they are powerful too," I told her looking at one of the prisoners hanging on the roof. With a long log on his chest. The whole dungeon stink of blood and dead bodies. "So they just came here to kill your prisoners?" I question The Queen who's been searching for any evidence. "I don't think so, they wouldn't just come here to kill for fun...they were looking for someone" She stood up patting her pants getting rid of the dust. "Is it Mr. Brown?"

"Probably" we keep walking deeper inside why this Dungeon is so damn big? "You told me that there was someone in here...I don't see anything except dead bodies" The Queen said in an annoyed voice looking down at me. "I-I did I heard a heartbeat" listening again, the heartbeat is gone now I only can hear ours.

"It's gone the person probably died" glaring back at The Queen to see an annoyed expression. Her jaw is all tense as well as her eyes. Not knowing what she is thinking or planning I took a step forward. Just the hear a click sound. Looking down seeing the step I took it to sink to three inches. "Uh, what is this?" Looking back at The Queen hoping she knows what it is. "I have no idea" all of a sudden the place started to crash down. The ceiling was falling the floor are shaking. "Fuck let's go!" Both of us started to run at the exit, seeing the pieces fall and the same green goo slides down the ceiling.

It's in a matter of time before the place gallops. The Queen grabbed me by the shirt again and throw it towards the exit. Too forced as in the end I crash with the wall. She used her vampire super speed to escape just in time. "You could have warned me that you gonna throw me across the room," I told her placing my hand on my nose feeling some liquid slide down. "It was hilarious how you hit the wall" The Queen let out a surprisingly cute laugh while she walks upstairs.

"So was that a trap?" The Queen stop laughing and nodded her head. "Yes it seems they knew we were gonna go down there" we finally got out of that place and went straight to the dining room. "They probably trap the whole place as well so let's be careful" The Queen agreed to it sitting down her chair. "I need to have a little chat with Mrs. Brown" she grabbed a strawberry and pop it into her mouth. "You think she did it?"

"Of course she did it. Who else wants that cheat bastard" leaning on my chair thinking if she wanted him wouldn't she just ask? " yeah but why would she attack you? Or send assassins to kill you and your men? You guys are allies" The Queen thought for a minute munching on the strawberry. "It's probably because she's dead" we looked to our left to see Aria came in with an exhausted expression. "And where we're you?" She sits down in front of me tired. " I was at Mrs. browns castle only to find out they all Die the same way as our men"

"How she died?" The Queen Question staring off into space. "By the looks of it they were torturing her, then they Pierced her in the heart" "they were trying to get some info from her" I stood up slamming my hand against the table getting their attention. "But why? She was a nice lady" Diane chuckled shaking her head. "Don't let her act deceives your little one" Aria cut in "she has slaves kids, men, women. In the mountain getting some gold and Iron." Feeling my act was stupid I quietly sit back down with a hint of red on my cheeks.

"But I'm pretty sure they didn't want that" curiously Aria and I look at Diane. "Look around, They didn't take anything valuable here, we still have money and jewelry" looking up at the Chrystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. There's a hint of blood in it but not some much that it starts to drip. "They wanted you, my Queen," I told her "yeah but killed innocent people here?" Aria question "No witnesses I guessed"

"So that means we can't stay here we have to leave" Aria stood up but soon got dizzy making her lean on the table for support. "Later, Aria you get some rest, Harlequin you go gather some food for our trip." Diane stood up and make her way to the stairs. "Come, let's get you to bed" I moved where Aria was grabbing her arm placing them on my shoulder. Helping her to stand up straight.

"I can do it by myself" Aria attempt to get away only to fail. "You need your strength for tomorrow so let me help you" she stop fighting and finally let me drag her into some room I found. "Here just lay down" gently placing her down in bed letting her rest up.

Aria got comfortable and snooze away. I went away closing the door quickly behind and went to work.

It's been thirty minutes I have gathered as much food, blood, and water I can. Putting them inside the bags closing them tight. "You finish?" Diane walks into the kitchen holding three bags. "Yeah what's in the bags?" Diane place two of them on a counter but hold one tight beside her. "Your and Aria equipment and clothes" grabbing what it supposed to be mine opening it seeing clothes, hunter knife. Flint to make fire. All different things.

"Does Aria have the same equipment?" Diane shakes her head no "no each one has different things than the other except things important like Flint knife, you know those things" the bags are green and big enough to put a box in them.

"Where's Aria?" Diane question looking around. "Sleeping why?" Just when Diane was gonna answer a loud explosion was made upstairs. We ran outside the kitchen to the stairs to see Aria flow downstairs with a little fire on her. She hit the ground hard as it makes a dent. "Are you okay?" Diane kneels placing her hand on Aria's back. "She's fine" I look up to see who's the cost of her being injured. And it's him I remember correctly, Black hair, Scar across his face, and a moon tattoo on his arm.

The man who killed my father and ruined everything, the cost of me being capture in the first place. My anger was taking over making me changing into my wolf form. "Harlequin calm down," Diane told me placing her hand on my shoulder. There he is smiling down at us That smug bastard "I WILL KILL YOU!" I jumped forward Changing completely. Running upstairs to tear him into pieces.

The man pulled out a knife ready to go. I aim for his neck wanting to feel his blood on my lips and teeth. The man swishes his knife at my side but it's not enough for me to stop. I sink my teeth on his shoulder hard but I only can feel a little blood. He grabbed my back and pilled me off him he adjusts the knife to stab my stomach.

Struggling to get off his grasp scratching and biting his hand. His grip tighten making me struggle to breathe or move. Just when he's about to stab me a strong breeze came blowing his hat away. I looked just in time to see Diane floating grabbed his hand that is holding me. Twist and kick his body ripping his arm completely off.

The man flow against the wall going through it. Weirdly the arm on my neck keeps tightening and moving. Diane grabbed the fingers and pulled them clean off. Throwing it across the room. "You Idiotic DOG you want to fucking die?!" The Queen screamed at me picking my injured self. She scanned around the area looking for a way to escape. She looked up a window then back at me. I started to shake my head no but she ignores me. jumping up into the window to the forest. Diane landed with a huge thump she ran farther away from the castle. "Wait what about Aria?"

"She's fine she is waiting for us with the bags...Wait how are you talking to me?" Diane stopped running and looked down at my naked self with such disgust. "You fucking pervert!" Diane throw me against a tree hard. "What's wrong you guys okay?" Aria came running with bags in her back, shoulder, and in front of her. "Give this poodle some clothes" Diane growl rubbing her hand that was caring me against her shirt. Aria opens my bag and gives me a shirt and pants to wear. She didn't seem to care that I was naked or arouse in any way.

Just a blank expression but something held in her eyes, not arouse or disgusted something that I can't tell. I must know who is Aria if she is a threat or not to Diane.
