Your legs dragged as you made your way to school, slightly dreading interacting with Mamoru. Studying with him was hell. It'd only been a week but he was relentless, giving you homework on top of homework. And that look he gave whenever you complained...You made a note to yourself of yet another Mamoru Chiba expression: Deep Irritation mixed with impatience. The mere memory made you shiver. You'd stayed up late memorising pages of your textbook just to avoid that look.
Unfortunately, the consequence of that was running a little later than usual. But, Moto Azubu High started a little later than most schools in return for a later ending time. You couldn't help but snicker at the occasional panicked Junior high students that ran by you every now and then in an effort to make it. A blonde girl with long pigtails had passed by practically screaming just three minutes ago. It was a sight.
"Jeez! You little jerks!"
The sudden shout from around the corner threw you off and deciding to investigate, you walked over spotting the blonde girl from earlier leaning over a black cat. You kept your distance as she picked up the cat and was promptly scratched across the face yelling. The girl pouted, muttered something then removed the bandaid on its forehead. The black cat flipped away landing on top of a car staring at the girl before running away. Part of you wished you'd recorded the whole interaction.
Suddenly the blonde yelled something about being late and practically sprinted off at top speed, a pink object falling out of her bag as she did. You stared wide-eyed, "Wait! Miss! You..." The girl had already disappeared around the corner, as fast as a rabbit. You sighed and walked over, seeing a small pink purse on the ground. Upon opening it her name was sewn on in pretty cursive 'Usagi Tsukino'. Next to it was a little white bunny, you smiled at the cuteness.
A slight rustling nearby caught your attention and you met the eyes of the cat from earlier. It's gaze was...Intense. You found yourself slightly drawn in before snapping out of it once the cat once again ran away...Was that a crescent mark on its forehead?

The school day was over and as you followed after Mamoru walking towards the library outside of school you stared at the purse debating what to do. You'd tried to remember what uniform the girl was wearing in an attempt to give it to the school but she'd run off too quickly. Suddenly, Mamoru stopped in his tracks and you bumped into his back letting out a surprised yelp. You stared at him confused and followed his gaze to a jewellery store. You smiled, "I never took your for the jewellery wearing type."
However, he seemed too distracted staring into the shop to acknowledge you. You raised a brow and took in the huge crowd entering and exiting the store, the sign indicating a huge sale. The price drops were insane, you wondered if you'd be able to run back after the tutoring session without the good stuff being taken. As you stared through the window together, a screwed up ball of paper flew by landing square on Mamoru's head. The paper rolled off of his head and into your hands, he stared at it clearly annoyed. He turned to the direction of the paper spotting a girl with long blonde hair, "Hey!"
As the girl turned you recognised her immediately but she seemed confused. Mamoru took the paper from your hand, unravelled it and immediately cringed, "30%?".
You quickly disguised your own embarrassment remembering your own barely reached 35% test score. The blonde, however, wasn't as good at disguising hers as she stomped over snatching it out of his hands, "That's none of your business!"
The girl stuck her tongue out childishly before beginning to stomp off. You remembered the purse in your hands and quickly called out, "Uh, Tsukino-San? Usagi Tsukino?"
