Chap 36

The sweet piano melody wakes up the whole entire house. There's someone behind coming closer slowly and quietly. When that person is about to shouted then a voice disrupt. 

-You awake?

Suyeon got sad. She can imagine Ni-Ki proud smile. She hugs his neck from behind, sulk.

-Why do I always got caught by you when I'm doing something :<?

Ni-Ki smiles, holds her soft hand and pulls Suyeon into his lap, kiss her forehead.

-I can always feel you, princess.

Suyeon held out her hand and fixes Ni-Ki's hair. When he's about to kiss on her lips then she already got out from his lap, laughs loudly and runs.

-Try to catch me!

Ni-Ki smiles, chases after her.

-......you're really are naughty.

Ni-Ki shakes his head, tries to make the old memories disappear. His heart throbbed. His lips still remains the familiar flavor. The girl that he used to love, the girl that made a deep wound in his heart, it's not easy to get over her. Sighs, Ni-Ki pushes the door and walks in the house. He stopped when he saw Sunoo sleeping on the couch. Still in the uniform. He slowly walks forward then he stepped on a bunch of marbles on the floor, which made him falls backward.

-Are you home?

Sunoo sits up, rubs his eyes gently, looking at Ni-Ki lying on the floor, he smirked.

-That's what you get.

-You...

-Where did you go today?

-.....

-Did you met her?

-Not your business.

-I'm your wife.

His mood is not good but he got asked so many question. Ni-Ki is very angry, he shouted.

-I don't know what's going on in that head of yours. But we're only married on titular, the truth is we don't have any relationship with each other. To me, you're no different from a stranger that I met outside. So don't give yourself the right to disturb my private life!

Sunoo opens his eyes widely. Now everything is clear, to Ni-Ki, he's just a stranger. Ni-Ki stepped into his mind and life, but Sunoo never have stepped into Ni-Ki's. Ni-Ki is a bit regret on what he has said, but his ego forced him to stay silent. 

Sunoo bites his lips so he won't cry, he looks straight into Ni-Ki's eyes and says.

-...you're wrong. You know my name, you gave me a nickname, that's more than a stranger. You don't need to know more about me. I can know more about you instead.

Leaving Ni-Ki standing there, Sunoo madly walks upstair, whisper.

-It is not a waste of time and effort to put those marbles there. If I knew he's gonna be like this then I would have set a bunch of needles so he would die already. 

-HEY IM STILL LISTENING!

The two of them steps out from the house with a bad mood. They didn't even look at each other. Though SUnoo always followed Ni-Ki to his school as usual. Jay steps closer and pats Ni-Ki's shoulder then sits down with his iconic cup of hot choco everything morning, he found out something's not right here....

-Hey, what happened with you guys today?

Reply to Jay is an awkward silent, there's definitely something going on here.

-Hey...

Sunoo stands up, holds the hand of a student that just sat down on the nearby table.

-Are you the 10 grader that I met last time? Hoon?

-Uh...hi

Sunghoon pushes up his glasses, Sunoo points at Sunghoon breakfast tray, asks.

-Hey...can I have that one?

-Huh? Yea sure...enjoy.

Sunghoon tries to smiles, the dessert is now gone :<. Sunoo didn't felt repentent, he holds the cake and eats happily, then looks at Sunghoon and smiles. SUnghoon quickly blushes, his regret suddenly disappear. Ni-Ki looks at his 10 grader junior, feeling a bit unhappy. 

-Are you starving to death? Why do you need to take other's food to eat?

-Not your business

After eating the cake, Sunoo stands up, pats Sunghoon's shoulder as a thank you, then walks straight at the school's gate.

-Are you guys on a fight?

Leaving Jay with his "innocent" question, Ni-Ki puts his hands in his pockets and walks away.

After school

-Can you go somewhere with me?

-I told you to never show up in front of my eyes again.

-I...

-I don't want to hear a single thing from you anymore....

-Ni-Ki...

-Also, you don't have the right to call my name from now on.

-....just today... be with me..

-No.

Min Suyeon holds Ni-Ki's hand back, Ni-Ki coldly pushes her away, lost her balance, she falls down on the ground, a small piece of wood got in her hand and caused a small wound. 

-A...

Suyeon looks uncomfortable, Ni-Ki turns around, he can't leave her like that. Then he pulls her hand and helps her up. Suyeon immediately hops up and wraps her hands around Ni-Ki's neck.

-Today is my birthday...please...I'm begging you.

Ni-Ki sighs, takes her hands off.

- Whatever, go to the nurse first.

As usual Sunoo waits for Ni-Ki in front of the gate, and that scene, can never escape from his eyes.....
