Chap 31

Ni-Ki and that girl just stay still. Looking at each other. Sunoo frowns and looks at  his "enemy".  Then look to Ni-Ki again, beside surprise, in his eyes, there's some....caring...

-Honeyyyyyyyy.

Sunoo loudly says, flies towards Ni-Ki and hugs his arm. Hearing that sound made him almost vomit, then he woke up, he looks at Sunoo instead of that girl. She turns around and looks at Sunoo, her eyebrows frowned slightly.

-This is???

-NI-KI'S  WIFE.

Sunoo smiles, emphasize every word.

That girl seems slightly surprise, then burst in laugh.

-Haha, you must be an another fiance that his mom picks for him.

-Wrong. First of all, I'm his wife not his fiance. Second, he married me willingly without his mom help or anything else. 

-Oh really? Then prove it.

-Enough.

Now, the main character has appeared.

-Miss Min Suyeon, this is none of your business, don't mind it or even think about it. And you, Kim Sun Woo, let's go home.

After saying, Ni-Ki went straight to the gate. Sunoo looks at Suyeon and smirked at her, Suyeon is not mad at all, beside, she's smiling.

Sunoo chased after Ni-Ki, but after a while he was gone.

-How should we deal with him, boss?

-Keep on going.

-Yes sir.

The guy laying at the floor groans, his face is full of bruises and his lips is bleeding. A look passed by, he doesn'ẗ feel pity for telling them to hit him. The brick kept on hitting the boy's right hand. Until his hand almost fly out then a voice came up.

-Stop.

Sunoo slowly goes in the middle. Standing near the unlucky student that have been beaten.

-What now?

-A, isn't that the boy that talked with us without respects?

Sunoo smirked.

-Seniors, how was the "lesson" that day I gave you?

Sunoo says exactly what they have been wanting to hide. One of them shouted.

-Sh*t, I do not believe that this time, we can't teach you.

They surrounded Sunoo, he takes a few steps back, then suddenly he opens his eyes widely, says.

- Hyung! (it means brother in Korean I just can't find the word for it in English)

Jake extinguished the cigarette, steps near Sunoo. The group surrounding Sunoo seems surprise, no one ever called their boss that close. Jake goes closer to Sunoo, then passes him. Natural reflex, Sunoo holds Jake's arm, the group once again drops their jaws.

-Just a call please.

-....

-Mom and dad..

-Shut up.

-But they really is worried about you.

- I'm living my life, tell them that.

-Why are you like this..?

-.....

-I'm asking you, answers please.

Seems like today Sunoo's brains is having a malfunction or something else. How dare he talk to Jake like that? All the people surrounding around them almost drops their jaws outside. Jake turns around slightly, smiles painfully.

-Ha? Cause of you.

Sunoo eyes opens widely because of that answer, his relaxing hand now turns into a fist. 

-You're so childish.

Sunoo says that with a small volume, but in this awkward silent, his sentence sounds very loud. This time Jake turns fully around, his eyes came from surprise to angry. He emphasizes his sentence. 

-What-did-you-just-say?

Sunoo sweats so much that the P.E. clothes that he's wearing looks like it has been soaked in water. His lips stutter a bit. Then he....fainted.

That leaves all of them in surprise.

-...hey...are you faking dead?

One of them steps up and moves Sunoo gently, after making sure that he really fainted, then all the eyes came towards Jake. He remains silent, then kept on going his way. 

The uncomfortable rubbing alcohol smell made Sunoo wakes up. A fully white room hits his eyes, he closes them without noticing. Flashing back about the conversation that he just made with Jake, he envy himself to dare say that to his brother. This is the first time he dared to look right into Jake's eyes and start a conversation. Normally, if Jake starts to frown a bit then Sunoo stops the conversation and gone away. And the total time that he had a conversation with Jake is almost under 10 times. No one believes that they are biological brothers, even Sunoo doubt it sometimes. 

Sunoo slowly opens his eyes, there's someone sitting next to him.

-What's wrong with me?

The boy sitting next to him seems a bit surprise now that he's awake, then answers

-Ah, uhm...you...fainted..so I...I...

-Huh? Why did I fainted?

-The nurse...says that..you got.. too scared so..you fainted.

-Did you brought me in here?

-Huh...ah.ah...ye.s...

-Thank you! You don't have to be so scared. I like eating beef not you.

The sentence mixes with a bit of joking, made him a bit less serious.

-It's fine...you saved me. Since now you're awake then imma go.

He quickly stands up and goes to the door, Sunoo holds him back.

-Wait, what about your wound??

-Ah yes, I forgot.

Sunoo feels like this boy is so weird, he's way more injured than Sunoo but he didn't mind. Looking at his pose while putting on the medicine, Sunoo sighs and helps him.

-You cared for others but not for yourself.

The boy just stays there and let Sunoo helps him, his ears got red. After everything is done. Sunoo asks.

-What's your name?

-Yes? Oh you can call me Sunghoon.

-Sunghoon? Oh..Hoon, which class are you in?

-Grade 10

-10? Then I'll be your senior!

-Oh, sure..

Sunghoon seems a bit confused, he kept his head down, Sunoo smiles, this kid really is cute. Sunoo stands up, walks out, before he does that, Sunoo turns around to Sunghoon and says.

-You should get change, your clothes is all dirty. After that go and make a reservation for the doctor, your wound is serious.

Sunoo is gone, Sunghoon touches the band-aid that Sunoo puts on, smiles.
