Amara
My head pounded heavily which had my tugging at my hair to try to relieve the pain somehow. It didn't help, but then again it made me focus on a different kind of pain. I was able to curl up my body and grip onto soft warm sheets that were covering my body.
The bright lights that flooded in the room caused my eyes to squint even though they were already closed.
I moaned at the brightening pain and covered my entire face with the white fluffy duvet set breathing calmly into it trying to ease my splitting headache that caused my temples to pulsate.
"Amara?"
I heard his voice appear from further away from the bed.
"Mmm" I groaned. My morning voice croaked as I felt my throat become very scratchy and dry. It pained to talk or to make any sort of sound at all.
I removed the blanket from my face and the light unwelcomely greeted my eyes causing me to squint even more than before.
"That bad huh?" His voice bellowed and chuckled viewing me in my agony of a hangover.
My eyes scanned their way around the room to where is voice came from and I was able to focus on his lean and tall stature effortlessly leaning on the door frame with both arms crossed and a smirk on his face. His muscles bulged in the black dress shirt that he wore and his hair was rested messy on his head, not too messy, but the right amount where it was falling perfectly.
I rested my head back down onto the comfortable feather pillows and sighed as loud as I could which only scratched at my sore throat further.
Feeling him step closer to my embarrassing state made me want to curl up even more and just forget about last night. Situations like that happen occasionally where I accept too much of a work load and suffered a lot of stress with work and, my lifestyle you could say.
The bed diverted beside me as he sat down and reached his strong arm over me and turning me to face him.
I groaned as I felt my body ache completely and then my eyes met with his. I focused away from the pain and on to his honey coloured eyes, they almost had slight flecks of green in them which was so easy to get lost in. It was like a pool of golden water with small tints of emerald green.
"How are you feeling?" He leaned down slightly tilting his head in concern. While asking he played with strands of my hair meticulously placing each behind my ear and tidying my presentation slightly.
"My head hurts" I complained and whined feeling my forehead for any signs of a fever, but no I just felt it thudding and beating against my skull almost trying to punish me for drinking so much.
"That'll happen when you drink the majority of my whiskey bottle." Romeo laughed slightly trying to hold it back so he wouldn't look too obnoxious.
My face appeared shocked as I heard how much it was I drank last night. How could I have possibly let myself do that?
"I drank how much?" I questioned with utter shock on my face.
Romeo simply smirked trying to hold his laugh which then caused his eyes to gaze onto the ground instead of at me.
"Oh god my head hurts, why does it hurt so much?" I asked rhetorically not expecting an answer.
"That's a hangover darling, thats what happens." The tone he used was almost mocking in a sense which did not help my state at all.
My face responded to this with a blank expression to show that I was not in the mood for his little quips.
I laid there with Romeo watching over me for a few moments just resting my body before I would have to get up.
