Romeo
Work had been piling up these past few weeks, no one knew where it was coming from. It made my life a lot hard and my days a lot busier. I hadn't seen Amara in weeks, that's how much work has come to my desk.
There have been strings of attacks and murders situating around my men and my clubs. We have no leads, no witnesses, well not an sober ones. The only witnesses we have are either drunk beyond all reason or drugged up. They have no memory of any part of the night and have nothing of use to offer.
Every murder and attack has been unlike anything I've seen before. They are all precise and clean. No witnesses, no evidence, no fingerprints, nothing. The kills looked quick and easy. The attacks were brutal and embedded with fear.
The work was giving me migraines and stress. My hands shot up to my temples massaging them to sooth them as best I could. There was a shooting pain travelling straight from my eyes to the centre of my skull and it was hounding me as if it was letting me know that it wasn't going to stop.
As a mafia leader I tend to have tonnes of messes that appear that I need to handle. Usually it's pathetic rival gangs who think that they can step up to my empire. I do what I need to to make sure that people learn from their mistakes, and don't try and be as stupid as them.
You always get a few who are willing to push the boundaries and attack my clubs and warehouses, looking for weaknesses, they never find one. I spent years making sure the kingdom I built up from the ground had zero weaknesses or faults so that no one could destroy us.
The sound of a faint knock on my door borough me out of my mind. Which was a dangerous place to be. When you've seen as much as I have and done all that I have done, your mind becomes a cage full of demons. I await the day that those demons come flooding out.
"Come in" responding to the knocking. Andreas appeared from the flooding light now coming into my office.
"Got a minute boss?"
I simply nodded in response not taking my eyes off of the security cameras that were placed all over my clubs. Focusing on particularly the main one where no one dared to hit due to the amount of protection it had. The amount of security that was on it forced people to stay away.
"We've got a tip off that someone's going to try and hit the Anarchy club tonight. No one seems to know who, but at least now we can be alert." Andreas continues, slowly making his way over to the large oak dark wood desk that has many papers, files and photographs on top of it.
I rolled my gaze over towards him and he stood there with a glare of anger and tension. His jaw clenched at the announcement he brought to me. Andreas had been my best friend for years now. He was the first person I pulled in to this lifestyle when I decided I wanted to create one.
My trust in him was just like the trust I would have in my family. That is what I considered him as, he has proven his loyalty to me on many occasions, on countless occasions he saved my life and put it before his own.
This business meant a lot to him too as he watched it start around him. He watched it build its strength and royal favour. When it was under threat he would likely become angry and it would result in a massacre and a lot of dead bodies.
"Do you have a plan?" I bucked my eyebrow now turning towards him in my chair and placing my hands together in curiosity.
He stepped forward and took a seat in the chair opposite the desk sitting with his legs slightly apart and a hunch in his back looking like he was ready to do.
"We should go to the club tonight, waiting. All the security we can bring. Ready at all times. Loaded to the Max. There's no way that someone can think they can take and disturb our club." Andreas appearance had become more angry and frustrated. He was ready to get out of the chair and start cracking skulls there and then.
