Ten years later, Gaara and Sakura have four children and they plan to visit the leaf village since they both settled in the hidden sand. The names of their children are; Takeshi, who is seven years old.

Shin Ryuu, the second born son, is 5 years old as well as Daisy.

Amber, the youngest daughter, is 4 years old.

The family were now facing the signage as they stopped by the entrance.

"Well, this is it, you guys..." the pink-haired kunoichi sighed mesmerizingly.

"Wow! So huge!" Daisy commented with a gasp of awe.

"Ooh. I want to meet them," Takeshi said eagerly.

"Okay, but first, you got to fix your hair up a bit," Sakura pointed out as she brushed a few strokes on his sides and upward. She held his tiny hand and walked further down the street.

The leaf squad greeted and threw confetti all over their heads, shouting in glee. "Welcome back!!"

"Oh my... You guys shouldn't have," she said.

"Come on, we wanted to surprise you!" Naruto grinned.

"We have presents for you and your little ones," Hinata smiled.

"Aww, you two are so sweet."

"Thank you, Naruto and Hinata," Gaara said.

"You're welcome, bro."

"Hi, big bro, Naruto. Do you want to spar with me later?" Shin Ryuu asked excitedly.

"Sure, kiddo. I'd be honored to," the blonde-haired Hokage responded with him patting his head and bumping his fist with him.

"Gyaah! Amber is so cute. She has your eyes and nose!" Ino squealed as she pinched her little cheeks.

Amber's hands were reaching out to her, then she got lifted up to be carried by her in her arms.

"It seems you do have natural mother instincts," Sai noted, which made his girlfriend blush.

"I do?"

"Yes..." he nodded and looked at Amber fondly.

Then, Sakura glanced at the couple, who were holding hands and approaching them with contented smiles on their faces.

"Sasuke, Katsumi."

"Hey, guys. How's it going?" The dark-haired ninja asked.

"It's great. We're happy to see you," she said, hugging them.

"Same here and your kids are so adorable," Katsumi complimented.

"Thank you... How's everything?" Gaara wondered.

"Well, Sasuke and I have been traveling overseas, so we brought some souvenirs if you'd like," she answered and gave them shell items.

"That's cool," he said and took them from her hands.

"Yeah, we even had to catch a giant squid and make some Ikayaki dishes," Sasuke explained, passing the plastic bag of three containers.

"Sounds fun and delicious. Thanks," Sakura giggled.

"Are you all ready? Hey, guys! Would you mind if we take your kids to school? You guys can just settle and relax," the blonde-haired Hokage called out from a distance.

"Let's go," Tenten and Choji chirped, whereas Shino, Neji, and Lee went along with them, heading to the Ninja Academy.

"Sure, Naruto! That would be appreciated!" Gaara replied back loudly.

"By the way, where's Shikamaru and Temari?"

"Right behind ya," one of them answered.

"Oh!" Gaara and Sakura got startled and each of them greeted one another.

"So I assume that they have been doing well at home?" The strategic ninja guessed.

"Yes, they are. They've been wanting to meet everyone else in the village, especially the other senseis, Lady Tsunade and Shizune," the pink-haired kunoichi said.

"Well, they don't have to worry about that. They can stay here as long as they want," Shikamaru smirked coolly.

"We have a house for you next door," Temari said as she decided to lead the way in.

"It's a dream come true, isn't it?" Sakura stated.

"Hmm. Yeah, and I will cherish this every moment that we have," Gaara said, nodding in relief and intertwining with her hands before he kissed her on the lips and with her head laying on his shoulder.

"This is home."
