lily chatted away with mason and grace for what felt like ages, until declan called her over to him and james.
"what you saying, yeah?" lily greeted them, giving them both a quick hug.
"hold on, actually. i'll be back in a second," declan excused himself as he scurried away quickly.
"how are you?" lily asked james, making small talk.
"i'm good, missed you though since you were in scotland." james said, taking a sip from his can.
"fanta, yeah? no alcohol?" she smiled, looking at his can.
"not tonight," james laughed, clinking his can off of lily's glass of who knows what alcohol.
"EVERYONE GET YOUR BAE BECAUSE THE COUNTDOWN'S COMING!" jesse screamed.
"do you reckon that's why declan ran away?" james laughed, wrapping his arms around lily's waist.
"probably," lily said, wrapping her arms around james' neck.
"5... 4... 3... 2... 1! HAPPY NEW YEARS!" jesse screamed, taking a shot.
and on the 1, she kissed him.
