Fine fine fine... you guys have complained enough... here you go :)
Pervert, idiot, pea-brain. There are many ways to describe the guy known as Shizuko.
When I first met him I wasn't very impressed. At the beginning since he was our tour guide, I thought he'd be responsible. I mean the principal was trusting him to show us around.
So when he started showing us around it may or may not have been awkward. I was already on high alert as I was picking up weird vibes from him. And I don't know why but the second he asked us where we lived, well I already classified him as a pervert.
And guess what? I was right.
Insert Hanamaru scene. I mean come on, you literally walked into the girls locker room of course your going to get beat!
After he showed us around I thought that'd be the end of our encounter. Now the nine of us could continue on our journey.
But the second You asked him to sit at our table... that's when it all changed. Or it started to change...
You see there were no red flags that made me think he'd be a big part of our lives, until he revealed that we were freaking neighbors.

So... moving on, he's an idiot. The guy is a dense, not impressive in any way. And yet we still all fell for him.
I don't know when I did, it was probably during the midterms when I had to teach Hanamaru and him. I still remember the fool begged for ramen and I told him a 74.9% on the worksheet, that was multiple choice...
That goes into my next point, he's a pea-brained stupid freaking stupid head. The guy thought that Geology was the study of the letter G.
Now I don't like to brag or anything, but I like to think I have high standards. I always have a plan, then a backup plan, and a backup plan for the backup plan.
Unfortunately there were not enough plans to contain Shizuko as no matter how much you plan, he'll always find a way to ruin it.
I remember that some girls kept texting me randomly telling me to back off of Shizuko. I quickly just blocked them, but it made me think what would happen if Shizuko and I were a couple.
And that thought is a thought I kept for five years. Even though Kanan and Mari told me that it wasn't worth it, that he forgot about us. I refused to believe them.
When the second years kept trying to tell me that I had to move on at some point, I responded, "He'll come back, I know he will."
Then finally Ruby asked, "What if you weren't the one? What if this is all for nothing?"
I paused for a moment and looked at Ruby who seemed a little scared, "I may not be, but I could be, and that's what keeps pushing me forward. I'll see him one way or another, and if he dies before I get to see him, I'll kill him in the after life."
And so I waited, five long years. 365 days each. And although I believed that he'd come, I never saw him. Until a fateful day.
I'm sure Shizuko has already told you about it, the idiot was like, "Nine girls? They all have the same hair color? ONE OF THEM IS NAMED YOU?!?!?!"
That pretty much summarizes what he thought. And so he sprinted over to us. My instincts kicked in and I was ready to fight. Until I saw who it was.
It's been another five years. Shizuko and I are now married, Chika is a mikan farmer, Riko was a concert pianist but later became a piano teacher, You and Tsuki are famous designers in New York City.
Yoshiko is a kindergarten teacher in Hokkaido, Hanamaru went back to run her family's temple, Ruby decided to be Shizuko's editor in writing.
Mari runs her family's hotel in New York, Kanan is a diving instructor, and I'm a teacher. Speaking of Shizuko writing, he decided to be an author.
"It's going to be so epic!" he told me one day. "And guess what I'll write about?"
"Us?" I guessed.
"Yep!" he grinned as I sighed.
"You realize that you need people to read it otherwise it'll be a waste right?"
"Calm down, I predict 15,000 people will read it!"
"That's a lot considering that you haven't even started yet."
"Well it's such a great story I'm sure plenty of people will love it."
"What's it called?" I asked the million dollar question.
He smiled slowly, "If three's a crowd, nine's a multitude!"
"What the hell does that mean?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Pfft, I don't know, but it sounds cool!"
"Seems legit, you're such a kid you know that?"
"Technically we're like twenty-eight so we're still young."
I sighed, "That doesn't mean you can be a kid,"
"You'll love me anyways." he laughed. He had me there...
"Maybe I'll get a divorce." I challenged.
He didn't flinch, "Then those five years of waiting was a waste."
"Shut up! You still haven't thanked me." I pouted.
"Then let me thank you right now." he kissed me.
"Still not enough." I grinned.
"And how many more of those do you need?"
"Five years worth." I winked.
And that's the end of our high school romance. And like Shizuko said...
If three's a crowd, nine's a multitude!
