I woke up to the feeling of a blanket of warmth on me. I slowly blinked open my eyes and winced slightly at the bright sun coming through the blinds. When my eyes finally adjusted, I looked to see the soft sun rays filtering through the room. It was then that it hit me. George and I had sex. Well, kind of anyways.
I looked down to see George's head still buried into my bare chest from the night before. Our legs were tangled and my arms were wrapped tightly around his waist, holding him close to me. I lay like that for a few minutes, burying my face in his hair and taking him in before slowly untangling myself from him and getting off the bed, careful not to wake him up.
I was happy. Like, really fricking happy. The euphoria stayed with me as I brushed my teeth and went down to make us some breakfast. It definitely didn't leave as I heard George coming down the stairs and felt him wrap his arms around my waist as I stood by the toaster.
"Morning sleepyhead," I cooed.
He grunted in response and pressed his head softly into my back, causing slight butterflies to escape from my heart. It was weird that even after all this time, even after all the things we had done together, he could still make me feel like a teenager in love.
I turned around and rested my arms on his shoulders. His hair was disheveled and sleep was clearly still in his eyes as he was barely able to keep them open.
I leaned down and gave him a small peck which caused him to give me a lopsided sleepy smile. It made my heart go all fuzzy, though I would never admit it. The sound from the toaster came and I turned around to pick the bread from the machine. I started to spread jam on them when music filled the house. I located the speaker it was coming from and found George standing next to it, shuffling between songs. He finally settled on "Line Without A Hook" by Ricky Montgomery. As the song played, I found the music befitting to my mood and it only caused me to feel happier than I already was, if that was even possible.
After I had finished with the bread, I walked over to where George was standing and grabbed his waist.
"What are you doing!" he squeaked as I lifted him up into the air and spun him around.
"Put me down right now Dream!" he screamed while hitting my arm.
I only laughed and spun him around even faster. He finally gave up and wrapped his arms around my neck, clinging on for dear life. When my arms got tired, I put him down. The minute that his feet touched the ground, I got a hard smack on my shoulder but there was a smile on his face nonetheless.
We ate breakfast while watching Animal Planet on the TV downstairs. George was resting his head on my shoulder while I had one arm around his shoulders. When we had both finished, he propped one of his legs onto mine and clung on to my arm while his cheek rested on my shoulder.
"Clingy much?" I joked.
"Okay guess I won't then," he stated, letting go of my arm.
"Oh no, you don't!" I squealed before tackling him onto the couch and peppering his face with kisses. He started giggling and playfully shoving me. I started tickling him all over while continuing to shower him with kisses. His laughs got even louder and soon he lay there, helpless to my shenanigans.
After we had both calmed down from our laughing fits, I plopped down beside him on the couch and he rested his head on my chest, his hand on my stomach.
"So, I've convinced you already, haven't I?" I said, smirking and looking down at him.
"No!" he said adamantly.
"Whatever you say, babe," I winked.
His face turned a bright red.
"You're close to convincing me though," he admitted while looking down and tracing circles on my stomach.
