a/n: Thanks for the wait! I hope you enjoy this chapter it's probably the second last one :)

It was the final day that I could convince George to date me and I would do whatever it took.

We were laying on the bed, lazily scrolling on our phones. I was on Twitter when I saw a tweet about a convention. I clicked on it and saw the full image of a few British YouTubers I recognized with the caption "see you guys soon!" I looked at the replies and figured out there was some gamer creator con in London.

"Hey George, is there a convention today?"

He turned over, "yeah, why?"

"Well, aren't you going?"

"I was invited but it's not really my thing."

"How about the after-party? Can't you usually go to the after-party even if you don't go to the event?"

"Yeah, too lazy though. Why are you asking, you wanna go or something?"

I sighed and admitted the truth, "well I think it might be a good idea for us to get out of the house, to be honest. I think after last week, we need to see some people."

He furrowed his brows and thought for a minute before sighing.

"Got a suit?" he said.

It was nearing evening and we were in an Uber on the way to the party. I was surprised when George asked me if I brought a suit, turns out the event was super fancy or something. I was going as George's plus one, just a friend who lived in the area. We were still hiding my identity, even after the facecam stream. I mean, it wouldn't take a genius to guess George's 6'3 blonde friend from America who happened to be in London at the same time as Dream was in fact Dream but whatever; guess I was hoping for the best.

I looked over to George, he was wearing the same navy blue suit he wore for his celebration stream a while ago. I told him he had looked good in it then but he looked just as good in it now as he did back then. Actually, he looked better. He caught me staring and looked back at me questioningly. I shook my head and turned my head back out the window quickly so he wouldn't see my blush.

The car finally slowed down to a stop in front of a tall fancy looking building. We thanked the driver and got out. Somebody was waiting in front of the building with a board in hand, writing something down. She looked up and saw George and her face brightened.

"Georgenotfound! You actually came," she said with a smile on her face.

He took a quick breath then started walking up the stairs to the glass doors where she was standing.

"Hi," he said, mimicking her smile. She looked over to me, "Is this your plus one?"

He nodded, "he's a friend." She looked knowingly at him before saying, "he wouldn't happen to be a gamer as well, would he?"

George glanced worriedly at me before shaking his head, "nope, just a friend who lives in the area."

I smiled as inconspicuously as possible.

She nodded slowly, "sure..."

She definitely knew it was me. Nevertheless, she opened the glass doors and welcomed us in, directing us to a convention hall. We went inside and were greeted by a room full of people in bougie outfits. Dim blue lights lined the ceiling, there was a bar at the end of the wall and a singer at the front. As I walked in, I saw different places for taking photos including a big heart made out of flowers with people in front of it in funny props.
