Chapter 9: Never again

Tony: The alarms were blaring so I decided that I had enough of that kid throwing fireballs at me. The Alarms were coming from this side of the ship.

"Oh, Shi-i-i-i-p," I said, looking around to see if Cap heard. I didn't see him, Clint, or Nat. Now I'm starting to get worried. I followed the sound alarms, picking up pace as I went. The alarms led me to the room we were holding the blonde in. As I walked into the room I felt a sudden pull and saw a HUGE hole in the wall. Grabbing the door, I got on my hands and knees and inched over to where Clint and Steve were examining the hole.
"CLINT! STEVE! WHAT HAPPENED?" I shouted to be heard over the sound of wind in our ears.

"I DON'T KNOW. WE HEARD AN ALARM AND CAME OVER HERE AND SAW THIS," Steve shouted back.

"WHERE'S THE GIRL?" I asked.

"UMMM. . DOWN THERE?" Clint tried with a sad smile.

"LET'S GET OUT OF HERE," I told them. They nodded agreement and together we inched back to the doorway. Once we had closed the door, I turned to them.

"Should we tell those two boys what happened to their friend?" Clint asked.

"Probably" I responded. Steve looked at Clint and I knew I had missed something.

"What?" I demanded.

"Tony promise us you won't flip if we tell you?" Steve said.

"I don't like this"

"Just promise"

"Fine. I promise I won't flip if you tell me."

"We don't think the girl was alone in that room"

"Who could It have been? You think one of the boys got out in her cell before the hole?"

"We don't think it was one of those boys". The way he said one of those boys' got me thinking.

"Tony we are really sorry, truly, but we think Peter was in her cell talking to her when the hole appeared."

I stayed true to my word and didn't flip.

I Exploded.

Percy: "Nico?!?"

"Percy doesn't freak. I just needed to tell you that we are sending a team to rescue you, Leo, and Annabeth. I need to leave now. Don't do anything stupid. Oh, and also don't kill anyone," Nico said.

"Wait! Have you seen Annabeth or Leo?" I asked him.

"Just saw Leo, he's as good as he can be. I'm going to see Annabeth now" He grabbed my arm and we shadow traveled to my 'cell room'.

"Why can't you just get us out of here now, neeks?" I asked Nico.

"First, Don't call me neeks. Second, I'm on strict orders not to get you guys out of here unless you're in mortal (or not mortal) danger. I'm really sorry Perce but I can't" He replies grimly.

"I will always be close if you guys are in danger," and with that, he melted into the shadows. The alarms had stopped blaring and I was wondering what they were for when the door opened up and the dude in spandex walked in. I could tell by the way he walked that he was a veteran of a big war and that he was about to tell me some very bad news.

"Hey kid, I'm sorry-"

"I'm not a kid," I said firmly. He gave a sad smile and I knew he was trying to give me some slack.

"I'm sorry, but we were attacked, and I don't know if you heard but the alarms were blaring bec-"

"Oh I heard"

"-because they had blown a hole in the size of our transport. When they did a few of our passengers unfortunately fell out and most likely to their deaths.-"

"No.No.No.No.No.No.No"

"-Two of them for certain. A young avenger named Peter Parker and the young Woman with you today"

"What?" I whispered.

"The young blond woman with you she fell-"

"I heard you the first time" I hissed. I could tell the flag guy was worried about how I would take this information.

"Never Again" I whispered. I was filled with silent rage. Murderous rage. The entire plumbing exploded, and every water source too.

Steve: This kid was starting to scare me. I could see he wanted to scream, or possibly kill. But he was holding it all in, all I could do was wait for him to explode. The plumbing had exploded and he was pacing the cell mumbling " Never again". I walked over to him and tried to comfort the kid but when I put my hand on his shoulder he jumped away and practically screamed: "DON'T TOUCH ME".

"Hey, I'm sorry I knew what it's like-"

"No. No, you don't know what it's like. You let my wise girl di-" He choked up on the word die before continuing. "You took us. If you didn't she-" He cut himself off and started to mumble.

"..My fault......... Gods..pay......... Never again....."

Just as I turned to leave, he looked me dead in the eye and said, "You kidnapped us, you will pay."

I was too stunned at what he had just said, so I got out of there ASAP. The scariest part? I believed him.
