About a year ago, our teacher made us write a bunch of sentences using adj and adv comparative and superlative. And two of the words were 'calmest' and 'calmer'. So my sentences were:
Hermione was calmer then George.
Fred was the calmest in his family.
So when I turned it in the next day, our english teacher started checking and then suddenly gave me the 'HOW DARE YOU' look.
When we got our homework back, I saw our teacher's red ink saying
"How dare you mention Fred's death!! Fifty points from Gryffindor!!" (She obviously didn't know I was a Slytherin)
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Well, I cannot see that teacher anymore cause I transferred schools. But it is always a nice warm feeling to think that in my old school,
I wasn't the only potterhead among us.
