The old grandfather clock outside my bedroom symbolises midnight as I stare out my window at the pitch black world outside. I have only been waiting for five minutes, but to me it feels like years. I look at myself in the mirror and touch up my red lipstick and tug at my dark brown, wavy hair tied up in a high ponytail. He was going to be here any minute now. I checked that my handbag had everything in it, phone, keys, makeup bag, ect. I check my phone for texts. Nothing. I tossed it back onto the silver silk bedsheets and sat back down on my swivel chair by my desk. The only light in the room was coming from the window next to me, the silvery moon was glowing outside and was filling the dark room with a faint white glow. I could hear the sound of an owl's hoot and the distant purr of a car driving down the winding country roads. I sat up in the chair to look out the window. An almost silent black car with no headlights on made its way up the road. I grabbed my bag and pushed my hair back out of my face. I creeped towards my bedroom door but stopped in my tracks when I heard the creak of a door being opened and footsteps made their way closer to my bedroom. I flung myself into bed as quietly as I could and turned away from the door. The footsteps carried on when they passed my door, they must have been going to he bathroom. I waited until they'd gone and tip-toed towards the door yet again. I turned the metal handle whilst praying that nobody would hear the quiet squeaking sound of the door opening. I padded across the hallway past my brother's bedroom and down the stairs. I had to jump the creaky stair which caused me to trip, but all I could hear was snoring coming from my parents room. I carried on into the kitchen and turned the locks of the front door. "WOOF!" I jumped and dropped the keys on the stone floor next to Freya my dog. She was jumping up and down in excitement, her fluffy white fur covering her eyes. She was probably thinking she was going for a walk. "Shhh!" I whispered as I picked up the keys few where I dropped them. She immediately say down and tilted her head to the left, her beady eyes glinting in the darkness. I sighed, "fine." I opened on of the cupboards in the kitchen and opened what I thought was her dog treats. She started to jump up and down again when I was teasing her by holding the packet just out of reach of her tiny little white paws. I threw one of the disgusting-smelling treats in the air and she easily caught it on her tongue. "Bye, Freya," I whispered as I turned the handle of the door. "Woof," she barked back in a small whisper.

I put the keys in my bag and closed the door behind me. The night air was cool and the car was still waiting just behind the bushes of the garden. I swung open the gate and closed it again, being careful not to make any noise.

I pulled open the black car door and sat down. He was next to me, one hand on the wheel, his dark hair covering his familiar James-Dean-daydream look in his bright blue eyes. "Hey Crystal," He smiled.
"Hi Austin," I smiled back.
The car moved slowly along the country roads, starting the long drive ahead of us. This could either end in burning flames or paradise....Style:
