Part One - Chapter 8

"Wha—Why? What? How?" Tony sputters as he looks back and forth between Evelyn on the couch and Evelyn in the kitchen.

"So there's...two of them? Two Evelyns?"

"Not exactly." Wanda says quietly as she places her hand on Evelyn's forehead who's passed out on the couch.

"What do you mean?" Natasha asks.

"This is Evelyn." Wanda says as she looks down at the woman on the couch.

"Okay so passed out Evelyn is Evelyn. Then who's that?" Rhodey questions as he points to the  Evelyn in the kitchen.

"That's a part of her." Wanda declares.

"What the fuck does that mean?" Bucky asks, confusion written in his face.

"Loki broke her, he split up what makes Evelyn Evelyn." Wanda explains.

"Excuse me? For those of us who don't speak magic?" Sam says as he crosses his arms.

"We each have different feelings, right," Wanda says as Sam nods, "Well, Loki took those feelings and divided them up into different Evelyns."

"Okay, so how do we put her back together?" Clint asks.

"Well first we need to find all the Evelyns. Loki split her up into five different feelings; happy, love, fear, sadness, and anger." Wanda explains.

"Great, so we go on an Easter egg hunt for five different Eves, each with one specific feeling."

"It shouldn't be that hard, we already have
one—oh fuck," Sam says as he looks back at the now empty kitchen, "Guys, she's gone."

"What do we do?" Pietro asks.

"She couldn't have gotten far," Tony says as he puts on a serious face, "JARVIS put the building on lockdown. No one comes in or out."

"I think Bucky here should take the angry one." Sam smirks as he pats Bucky on the back.

"Don't touch me." Bucky grumbles.

"He has the most experience with her being angry." Sam chuckles.

"Hilarious." Bucky sneers.

"Enough you two! Let's find go her." Steve interrupts.

"Quick question, what do we do if we find her?" Pietro asks.

"Bring her here, put her in a cell." Tony replies.

"A cell?! We are not putting her in a cell!" Steve exclaims.

"We don't know if the other Eves are dangerous or not. They go in a cell." Tony declares.

"Tony, let's just find them first." Natasha says.

"Please, you have to remember darling." Loki begs as he stands before Eve. "I split your feelings, all you can feel is love so tell me you remember me, please, I'm begging you."

Loving Eve lifts her hands and cups Loki's face as he shudders and closes his eyes, waiting to hear her say she remembers him.

"You have such a lovely face." Eve smiles as Loki opens his eyes. Tears line those green irises.

Loki places a hand over one of Eve's that holds his face. "I don't have much time before I lose control, but I promise I will get you back my love."

"Evelyn?" Steve whispers softly as he walks into her room.

"Who are you?" Eve sniffles.
