[a/n: someone asked why i'm using sapnap's 'online name' and just so people know for the rest of the book, after chapter 1 i found out he is uncomfortable with people he does not know using his real first name, and even though i doubt they would read this, i 100% agree with respecting creators boundaries and this is one i will keep too, even though other writers do use his real name, thank you and thank you sm for the love! i love all of you remember that]

tw: anxiety mentions, abuse mentions, nightmares about past trauma.

when george's nose had become less red and the ice began to melt, clay stood up and returned it back to the freezer as sapnap sat and watched george.

george was shaking, clearly from the shock of them turning up, cameron and it all.

to say george was disorientated was an understatement, so much had happened in the last hour he wasn't exactly sure what was going on.

sapnap and clay were in his house.

cameron had forced entry and became violent.

george didn't understand anything, it felt as if the last hour went past in a blur in his mind, as clay came back he saw sapnap frozen in place.

to clay it was clear sapnap hadn't thought things were this bad, and clear sapnap needed air or a sleep, possibly both considering as soon as they got off the plane they got a uber to george's house.

"sap, go get some air or a glass of water." clay said as sapnap turned and spoke, looking back at george.

"but what about george." sapnap said, clearly concerned.

george and sapnap had a friendship which essentially they would bully each other and argue over the smallest things and make remarks about anything, such as 'any askers' or about each others appearance, obviously joking.

but sapnap was worried, george was not like this normally, clearly this breakup had worsened him.

"sapnap, he will be fine okay. just go get some air, i wouldn't tell you to go if i didn't think he will be fine... he's just confused and scared." clay said as sapnap looked back at him and the sighed moving of the arm of the sofa and leaving the backdoor to go sit and get some air.

clay smiled and watched and when sapnap was gone he sat back down next to george and placed his hand on george's shoulder, this taking george out of his stare into nothing.

george turned, and stared into the golden warm eyes once again, he was confused as to why clay's eyes felt so warming and comforting, but they felt like it to him.

george and clay stared at eachother for a few moments until george finally stopped shaking and his head recollected its self, he then asked the question on everyones mind.

"why are you here..." george said, quietly and gently.

with a slight wince in his tone, clay smiled and spoke back in a gentle tone.

"remember you was drunk and fell asleep on facetime with me and sap?" george nodded as clay went on.

"we knew we had to help you and save you from your self and the self destruction you were causing... so we booked a flight out here, and we were going to tell you but you kinda went off the radar... your fans miss you george," clay said as george smiled, a genuine smile on his face.

for the first time in his life, he felt as if people cared.

after all, his parents wouldn't even want to see george on facebook, cameron only cared deeply for the first part of their relationship, george had no one else before clay and sapnap came here.
