~Yes I know! Its finally getting interesting!~
"Sophie!" Amy repeated louder.
Amy noticed the worry crease between Sophie's eyebrows.
"What's wrong?" Asked Amy as she just realized it had to be important if Sophie Foster and her friends were on her front door steps.
"Maybe we should sit inside to tell you this," said Sophie.
Amy didn't like the sound of Sophie's worried voice. Now she knew it was important.
"I also vote we sit inside unless you are trying to make us freeze to death." Said Keefe, shaking.
After Amy led them inside, they all sat down on the copper colored couch with Watson quickly running after them. "Why do you have that game?" Asked Amy. There was a long, uncomfortable silence as Fitz pulled out a brown box that reminded Amy of a suitcase. The suitcase-like box had giant gold letters spelling JUMANJI. Amy starred long and hard at it.
"We need your help with this box." Said Sophie.
"Seems familiar?" Added Fitz.
"Tell me your joking." Amy said. With the silence that came after seemed to tell the answer. "Jumanji is from an old movie."
"Okay..." Sophie said slowly.
"Can you tell us what happened in the movie." Asked Fitz.
"Sure," sighed Amy. After explaining it to them the three friends looked nervously confused. "You still didn't answer my question: Why do you have that game?" Amy repeated.
"If that's true..." Said Sophie pulling out an eyelash.
"Can someone please tell me what is going on?" Snapped Amy frustrated of not getting answers.
"Well our last out encounter with the Neverseen they dropped this. And I managed to pick it up before they realized it was gone." Explained Fitz. "We know the Neverseen was planning to do something awful with it but we weren't sure what."
Amy stumbled. "Are you sure that's real?" She had to say, even though she knew what would be the answer.
"Yes". All three elves said in union.
"Whatever you do, don't play it then." Warned Amy.
"Well the thing is...'' mumbled Keefe. "Mommy dearest apparently went inside this very exact game along with a Black Swan member."
That just made Amy more confused. "And our mission is to try to get them back." Said Sophie as she sat on her hands (probably to stop pulling another eyelash).
"You can't go in there!" Amy exclaimed.
"I have to save that person." replied Sophie.
"We have to." Corrected Fitz as he slipped his hand into Sophie's. Amy wanted to gag but then realized it wasn't the right time. She would make fun of Sophie later in a much less serious situation.
"I can't let you go." said Amy, talking directly to Sophie.
"It's okay". said Sophie "I'm the Moonlark; this is my job." Amy knew she couldn't argue.
Keefe must have been busy unboxing the video game because within seconds he had it in his hands. " So you do have a gaming system. Right?" asked Keefe.
After they put the video game in Amy's Xbox the screen flickered on. Amy passed out the game remotes. She couldn't believe they were doing this. "Ready?" Amy asked as she held her remote to pick her character.
"Um we only need three remotes." said Sophie.
"Actually four." Amy replied pointing to herself. "You didn't think I'm wasn't coming with you, did you?" Asked Amy.
"No! You can't come, it's too dangerous." Said Sophie.
Amy crossed her arms across her chest. "Even though I'm not an elf with powers, I'm still the same as you." Said Amy. After a long argument Sophie finally gave up.
"Fine" Sophie groaned. "I just don't want you to get hurt." Sophie looked at everyone this time.
"Oh please" Said Keefe, " Of course we are not gonna get hurt in a game where basically everything is trying to kill us."
That didn't make Amy feel any less nervous. Before Sophie could respond to Keefe's comment, a girl's voice filled the room "Didn't think I wasn't coming with you, did you?" They all turned around and a girl with high heels and a lavender purple dress stood outside of the doorway. Amy realized it must be one of Sophie's other friends named Biana.
Amy heard Fitz mumble some unkind words under his breaths starting with the word "Vanishers". "We really should get going soon." Amy replied before there would be a whole new argument. The five friends nodded at each other. As they pressed their buttons on the controller, they formed a circle holding hands. Then they counted to three and a blinding light screeched all over the room. Amy didn't struggle; she just let the light carry her away. And just like that they were gone...
