"Goodbye dear. We love you." Alissa whispered to Lucy as she embraced her daughter before letting her head onto the train.

As Lucy made her way onto the train, she carefully looked through each of the compartments before her eyes fell onto those familiar blue eyes she had seen during summer.

She gave Draco a smile as she entered the compartment. "Hey." She said.

"Hey." He replied, standing up to give her a hand with her things. The two of them sat down, side by side, Draco against the window, and Crabbe and Goyle sat opposite them. The four of them talking about their summers as Tina popped into the compartment.

"Hey!" she exclaimed, taking a seat next to Lucy.

"Hi." Lucy responded giving her a smile. The five of them continued talking about their summers, and Lucy noticed that Tina interacted with Draco, for a nice change. Granted, she was teasing him about spending time with Pansy, again, but it was a conversation without one of them leaving.

Lucy relaxed in the seat as she enjoyed the moment of normal, her eyes falling onto Draco's hands. He was twisting the ring she had gotten him a couple years ago around in his fingers, almost nervous.

"You okay?" Lucy leant in towards Draco and whispered. Draco just nodded and shifted his gaze outside the window of the train.

Towards the end of the train ride, Lucy and Tina made their way to the bathroom to change into their robes, on their way back they stopped to see Hermione who was talking with Harry and Ron.

After ten minutes they made their way back to the compartment.

"Parcivall." That familiar annoying voice echoed as they reached the compartment. Pansy and Daphne had sat themselves down next to Draco as the two of them were deep in conversation.

"Sorry, but there aren't enough seats in here for you two to stay. Probably best you both get out." Tina snapped at them. Daphne rolled her eyes as Pansy turned to Draco, planting a kiss on his lips, before standing and heading out, pushing past Lucy and Tina as they left.

Lucy's breath caught in her throat at the site before she sat back down next to Draco. The boys had changed into their robes as well and now they were nearing the castle.

As Lucy, Draco and the others made their way to the castle, Lucy's gaze shifted to a herd of Palomino winged horses, leading a carriage in the sky.

"Look!" She exclaimed, pointing upwards. The rest of the students also shifted their gaze and looked on in amazement.

"Look over there!" A young Hufflepuff boy cried out, pointing towards the black lake where a ginormous ship erupted from the water.

"Wow! Wonder what that's about!" Lucy exclaimed to Tina.

Lucy and Tina sat at the Slytherin table in the Great Hall, near them was Draco, Crabbe and Goyle, with Daphne and Pansy sitting with them as well. They waited patiently for Headmaster Dumbledore to welcome the new year.

As they were seated and waited, Theo and Blaise headed towards them.

"Here we go." Lucy whispered to Tina who immediately shot her gaze up to the boys.

"Hello sunshine," Theo said, smiling sweetly to Lucy before sitting down in front of her, "Bones." He added, nodding to Tina.

"Hello Theo, Blaise." Lucy politely said before shifting her gaze back to the front of the hall.

It didn't take long for Professor McGonagall to bring in the new first years, and soon after, began the sorting ceremony.

After the ceremony, Professor Dumbledore stood up at the front, "now we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement." He began.
