Lucy gave him a small, flirtatious smile before closing the space between them. "Dance with me?" She said, before walking backwards to the crowd of movers. Draco sighed, trying not to smirk at her as she began moving with the music. Eventually he walked over to her and pushed her further into the crowd. He grabbed her hips as they danced sultrily to the thumping music.
"There you are!" Tina called out, spotting Lucy only because she had spun around in front of Draco. She felt his grip release as Tina made her way over to her. Lucy looked back over her shoulder as Draco moved his way out of the crowd and over to the wall where Crabbe and Goyle were standing, watching them.
"Come on, I need another drink." Tina exclaimed, dragging Lucy over to Millicent again.
"Save me a dance?" A voice called out to Lucy behind her. She turned around to see Theo winking at her as Daphne was dragging him off somewhere. She rolled her eyes at him and hid her smirk as her and Tina finished their drinks.
It was hours later before Tina and Lucy stopped again; they had danced the night away as Lucy hazily looked over at the clock that read half past one.
She looked over to Draco who was still watching her, cup in hand. The look he gave her sent tingles down her spine.
After another few hours Lucy dragged a barely conscious and very drunk Tina upstairs into their dorm with the help of Draco.
"Thank you." She said to him as they flopped her onto her bed and Lucy covered her with blankets.
"Don't mention it." Draco said as he made his way out of their dorm. Boys usually weren't allowed in girls' dorms, and vice versa, but it was more of a guideline than a rule as most students broke it multiple times throughout the school year.
"Draco, wait." Lucy called out quietly to him as he stopped halfway down the stairs. He turned and looked over his shoulder at her and frowned.
Lucy took a breath and descended the steps between the two of them. She stood in front of him and her heart felt like it was going to beat out of her chest.
"I uh, have to tell you something." Lucy mumbled. Her hands began to shake, and she could hardly get her words out as she look at him.
"What?" He said as he started to frown.
"Um." Lucy stuttered as she dropped her gaze to her hands in front of her, twisting at the ring on her finger.
"Spit it out Parcivall." Draco snapped. He was growing more annoyed at every second she wasted not telling him.
"Theo kissed me." Lucy blurted; her eyes snapped up to his as she said it.
She watched as Draco's expression changed and his face screwed up in anger.
"And, I-I kissed him back." Lucy mumbled after Draco didn't say anything else. She watched as his face softened and it almost turned to disappointment at her.
"Right." Draco finally said as he nodded. His face was blank, and he didn't give anything away as he stood in front of her.
"That's all." Lucy mumbled guiltily. She watched as Draco nodded once more before he turned on his heel and continued down the stairs until he was out of view.
She sighed to herself, disappointed before she walked back to the room and she looked back over to Tina, who was now snoring very loudly.
Lucy showered and hopped into bed, thinking back to how angry Draco had appeared at her.
The next morning a lot of the students were quiet, groggy and lazy. Lucy made the effort to get Tina out of the common room, but they didn't get far as Tina had been hungover and sick all morning.
