Elijah's POV
I'd look out the window of the plane as it was lifting off into the air. Thank god I'm leaving this treacherous city. There's nothing more left for me here. After what he did to me. I'd start seeing flashbacks of what happened and felt like there was a choking sensation around my neck and then calmed myself. "Fuck him and fuck LA." I'd say to myself in my head.Once the plane was in the air and was stable, I got out of my seat and went to use the bathroom. Once I finished my leak, I went to splash some water on my face but there was turbulence. I muttered, "Fuck." As the water was all over my shirt. Now I have to sleep in a damp shirt. What is it with my luck?
Once the plane landed, I was sure to grab my things and hurry off the plane. We kind of got here a little late and I was supposed to be at the college by 2 pm. It's now 3 pm. All my stuff was supposed to be there though, so I wouldn't have to worry about moving things from a car and going back and forth. It was all up in my dorm ready for me to pack when I got there.
I got my baggage and then started towards the exit of the airport. It was kind of small since this isn't LA. It's Washington. It was very gloomy outside today, but I guess it's going to be like that often as I glanced away from the TV that was displaying the current and future forecasts. I mean, I wasn't mad at it. It was always so fucking hot there in LA. Always sunny and barely rained.
Finally, my uber got here so he can take me to college. It wasn't a long drive, only about 45 minutes. It was a beautiful drive. I got to see the mountains and go through some tunnels. I already love it here, smiling to myself.
Once we pulled up, I paid and thanked the driver and grabbed all my belongings, and headed to the move-in area to get my key and information. They kept blabbing about clubs and all that shit. As you can tell, I was uninterested in that type of shit. Like what do you want me to do? Sit in a manga club and talk about manga and anime all day? No, I wanted to start over and have fun, maybe make a friend or few.
I walked into my dorm and noticed my roomie hasn't gotten here yet and his stuff hasn't even been moved in. I glanced at my stuff seeing that it wasn't a lot, but I had to get what I could in the time I had. I started to unpack and put all my stuff in their designated place. This is nothing new, being my sophomore year in college, though at a new college. I looked out the window, gasping as I recognized we got a good ass view on the second floor.
"Who knew a college room could have this type of view?" I muttered to myself. I walked back to my bed and lay there with my flip phone putting some earbuds in. I didn't get to have a new iPhone or anything like that. I was too scared he'd find me. I don't wanna risk it.
I found myself asleep, subconscious but I heard someone was in the room. I stayed silent and didn't move a muscle till an unknown figure shoved me and I jumped from my sleep ripping the earphone cord out of my flip phone.
My eyes were blurry for a second but then came into focus when I looked at this person,
"Christopher Lee-?" I said as he said my name in unison. I became tomato red when I realized it was someone from my past.
"What the fuck? Why the fuck are you here? GET OUT!" I said angrily as he backed away. He then started glaring at me angrily and I didn't know what to do? WHY is he here? I kept asking myself in my head.
He then spoke up, "Uhm, this is my room, room 203? Why are YOU HERE?" I scoffed and realized we were roommates. "Oh shit," I said, "We're roommates."
I could see all the anger rise to his face. Why was he that mad that we were roommates? If he doesn't want to room we can easily get a switch I pondered. I lay back down staring at the ceiling signaling I didn't have time for all this anger. I could tell he was sending daggers to me but I paid no mind to it.
Then I got back up and walked to the bathroom to take a leak and I shut the door before I heavily sighed out loud, so he could possibly hear. "Ugh." I then said to myself and got up and washed my hands.
He wasn't doing anything much, refusing to unpack his stuff which for me, was fine. I would gladly have a new roommate.
After a few seconds of just sitting on my bed, he spoke up, "I don't want to room with you, leave." I scoffed and looked around sarcastically making it look like he was talking to the wall. Ain't no way he told me to leave my new life and my new room.
"Uh, no. You can leave. I was here first, if you don't want to room with me I will GLADLY walk down to the administration so we can get a switch." I giggled after saying that, no point in hiding my attitude now.
He scoffed and gritted his teeth and pulled me by the arm, we were now out of the dorm going down the stairs and my guess, heading towards administration.
I pulled away from him and felt a little intimidated as no one but him has pulled me like this before. I gathered my posture and walked slowly behind him glancing around at the beautiful scenery this place had to offer. Like wowzers.

We'd arrive at the student center, looking to find the administration running it, I then followed Christopher to the counter where the lady is.
"We cannot switch rooms nor switch persons as we've reached capacity this year." She went on, "You both were also the last students to arrive and weren't on time. We can't make exceptions. Apologies." I huffed as she said this, I almost spoke then he said "Whatever, if anything changes, let ME know. I don't want to be rooming with him," He then glanced over at me with irritation. I rolled my eyes and walked away proudly, I already knew this when I came in. But I felt like being a bitch. I can get a laugh outta this, can I?
