A month passed when u first made the contract with Soul and now he's been living with us as part of the family. He has also been teaching me magic with Uncle Tet and today was the day that Sefiria née-sama goes to the magic school.
I had to get ready to send Sefiria née-sama to the school. Right now née-sama is 10 years old so she has the right to attend the magic academy.
The academy she's going to enter is going to be in our kingdom of Eralith and it's the most distinguished magic school in the whole world.
It goes by the name 'Eralith Magic Academy' (Author: yes... it's a very simple and beautiful name) at the magic Academy, the classes are split into 5 ranks. The highest rank is S class, then it's A class, then B class, then C class, and the lowest is D class.
The academy is very hard to get into. Although millions of people enter the academy only a quarter of them make it into the academy with passable marks.
And till now no one has been able to enter the S class only A class and lower. All of the instructors at the Eralith Magic Academy are all national level magicians so to get passable marks they should impress all of the instructors and the hardest out of all of them is the headmaster. But if you can impress the instructors then you will be able to move on.
The headmaster is my uncle, he is my father's brother and he is amazing from when he used to spar with me, but he never used more than 5% of his power with me which is sad, but he is strong and I have been learning from him too.
And today Sefiria née-sama is going to enter take the entrance exam to enter the academy.
First she must do the written exam which is extremely hard.
Second she must impress all of the instructors with her magic. Once she does that, she will get chosen to participate in the third event.
The third thing that there will be is to fight with the other students who have been able to impress the instructors.
They must show their offense and defense skills against each other. Then the instructors including the headmaster will each chose one student to be their disciple.
I really want Sefiria née-sama to be able to attend the academy. She has been working very hard so she should enter the academy. I don't want her to go, but she must move forward.
"Née-sama! Be careful and do your best to be able to attend the Eralith Magic Academy," I said as I ran to hug her.
She hugged me back and smiled, "I will attend the academy, you'll see Samuel! But you must also come to the academy when you reach the age of 10! All right! I'll be waiting for you. I'll come back if I don't get accepted but I will get accepted! Now goodbye everyone!" She said as she entered the carriage and waved goodbye.
Time Skip to when Samuel is 10 years old~
I am now 10 years old and I am getting ready to go to the academy. If I am able to attend I will be able to see née-sama. And Sefiria née-sama was the first person in history to be able to go to the S class.
So I will also do my best to enter the S class!
"Mother, father. I will be going now. I'll come back if I don't get accepted. But I will get accepted and make you proud. If I am able to enter S class then you will be the proud parents of two S class children," I said as I hugged and smiled at them.
Both father and mother were crying, but smiled back at me almost instantly. I entered the carriage with Soul as my attendant and waved them goodbye.
Soul was coming with me, because royal family members are able to bring at least 1 attendant with us to the academy to help us with our needs.
"Soul, are you looking forward to going to the academy?" I said as he nodded.
"Yes I am young master," he said. Soul by the way started calling me young master or Samuel-sama ever since our contract. I don't mind it cause he's my servant but I would like him to call me Samuel, but he doesn't listen.
As we were chatting about the academy, I stared to become tired, so I took a nap and laid down on Soul's lap. Soul was surprised by my sudden movement, but then patted my head gently.
(Author: by the way if some of you are wondering about Soul's age then he is 8,769 to be precise. He is very old, but he cannot die from old age because he is immortal and he can maintain his youth, but he can die if someone kills him. Samuel is also an immortal being but he cannot die form old age nor can he die form being killed and since Samuel made a contract with Soul, his life is tied with Samuel's, he dies then Samuel will still live, but if Samuel dies Soul will die)
After 1 hour passed, Soul woke me up since we already reached the academy. I woke up and exited the carriage with Soul's help. I stood in front if the large gate and stated my name to the guards, "I am Samuel Von Eralith, the crown prince. And this is my attendant Soul. Can you please open the gate for us. I would like to take the entrance exams to attend the academy."
The guards flinched at name and bowed, then the opened the gate. I was escorted to the main hall for entrance exam and was given to sit in the front row seat. The front row seat is reserved only for the royal family. I sat in my seat and was given 10 sheets of paper stacked together. I'm guessing that's the written exam.
An instructor came up on the stage and said, "greetings, students. These sheets of papers are the written exam so when I ring the bell you must get started at once."
Everyone nodded including me and the bell rang loudly which meant the start of the exam.
I answered all of the questions with ease. They were extremely easy I wonder why. All of the questions were related to magic equations and I understand the theory of Magic so it should be easy for me, but these questions were not a challenge for me I wonder if they got it mixed up? Hmm... I don't think so, maybe those rumors were exaggerated. Anyways, once I finished I gave my exam sheet to the instructors sitting on a big table. "Instructors, I am done with the exam," I said to them and they nodded in unison. They bowed and gestured their hands telling me to go back to my seat and wait for the exam to end. I inclined and went back to my seat.
After a while of waiting in silence, the exam finally ended and only 100 out of 1,000,000 students passed with a passable mark, of course I got a full score on it which I think no one got.
Once we checked our marks, we were being escorted to another room and being called separately to another room where the instructors are.
All the students were called and only I was left. I was finally called by them and told to show something that would impress them.
