After waiting for a few seconds, I took three deep breaths to calm myself before I started my magic.

After waiting, I combined light water magic together to make mirror magic.

The instructors were filled with awe, when the headmaster asked me, "Samuel-sama, what does this magic that you showed us do exactly?"

I answered, "it is called mirror magic and it allows the user to copy and duplicate an element or thing for a short or long amount of time. Mirror magic is only possible if you combine light and water magic together. The time of maintaining the spell depends on how vast the mana of the user is, so that means I can use it for a long amount of time without any troubles. It does consume mana, but not a lot."

The headmaster was pleased with my explanation and told me to continue. I nodded and started explaining about the combination that I was about to do next.

"As you all know air is one of the pure elements, the roots of all primal magic, but combining it with other elements can create further and varied specializations. The possible amount of combinations are endless. So now I will be combing air with earth magic to be able to produce crystals. I call that crystal magic, it is the ability to manipulate shimmering shards of quartz or other crystalline materials with a touch. It is useful in long distance battling," I constructed a detailed explanation and I showed them how my crystal magic works.

The headmaster was smiling with my explanation and asked me a question, "Samuel-sama, the two types of magic that you showed now are they your own magic made from your experiments?"

I nodded and said, "yes that is correct headmaster Alan. The mirror magic and the crystal magic are both from my experiments I have many different kinds of magic that I made, but I will only show you one more of my original magic today. I will keep the rest as a surprise for later if I ever get accepted that is." The instructors and the headmaster smiled and told me to carry on with my demonstration.

"This will be an offense and defense spell so you might want to cast a protective barrier around this room and yourselves," they nodded and casted a strong barrier.

I began to explain and demonstrate my next spell, "this next spell is called Space–Time magic which allows the user to utilize space as a form of offense and defense. Mages who possess the ability to utilize such magic are able to manipulate the space–time continuum. This type of Magic gives its user the ability to transcend space and time. It can be used to instantaneously move oneself or targeted objects from one place to another." They were shocked by the magic that I could do and were even more curious by what other spells I could do that I did not show them yet.

Headmaster Alan, no sorry uncle Alan was indeed shocked, but he just smiled and was proud by what I could do. The instructors and uncle Alan were whispering among themselves and finally said, "Samuel-sama, the magic that you have shown us today is spectacular, we cannot wait for you to show us all the endless possibilities of magic. We discussed this among ourselves and came to a full agreement that we give you full marks on impressing us today. You have the right to participate in the next step before you are able to attend the academy. I'm sure you know this, but in the next step you must fight against the headmaster and impress him with your offensive and defensive skills. It will be tough, but I'm sure that our crown prince would be able to do it."

As one of the instructors' said that, uncle Alan raised his hand and gave me a thumbs up with a smile on his face saying, 'I won't go easy on you just because you're my nephew Samuel, so do your best!'

I smiled back at him with a face saying, 'I don't expect you to, so I will go all out in defeating you, uncle Alan!'

As I did that I left the room and told Soul what had happened in the room with instructors and he was happy that I got full marks. "I knew you would be able to get full marks. That was expected for my master," he was really happy, that he ended up praising himself that he has a great master. All I did was chuckle at him. I really didn't want this day to end is what I thought, until one of the instructors came in and said.
