Christian took it surprisingly well, and had responded to her news by picking her up and kissing her. I returned to my own head, seeing a panicking Dimitri in front of me. I smiled at him, wrapping my arms around his neck. I was so relieved that Christian took it well. Dimitri pulled back, gripping my shoulders.

"So, he took it well?" Dimitri asked, wearing half a smile.

I nodded, and couldn't stop smiling. "He was so excited . She was so relieved..." I was so excited that I practically flung myself at Dimitri again. I could tell he was shocked about how happy I was for her. "I can't believe this! She's going to have a baby..." Something clicked in my head. "Holy shit." I whispered, then pulled away from him.

"What's wrong?"

I clung to his shirt, smiling like a maniac. "Nothing's wrong. It's just... Lissa will finally be given a spot on council!"

He smiled. "I don't think I've ever seen you this happy."

I rolled my eyes and threw my arms around his neck, resting my forehead against his. He leaned forward, and so did I. Our lips connected, and warmth shot through my body. He pushed me backwards onto the bed so that he was hovering over me. He ran his hand up my leg and gripped my thigh, wrapping my leg around his waist. He moved his hands to the hem of my shirt, sliding it off and throwing it on the floor. I helped him take off his duster, followed by his shirt. We pulled apart momentarily for a breath, but he got off me once he saw the time. I groaned, earning a smile from him. I knew I should've gotten rid of that damn clock. He put his shirt back on, and threw his duster over his shoulder. He pressed a kiss to my forehead before leaving, and I smiled. I ran a hand through my hair, trying to get out most of the knots. I put my shirt back on, grimacing at how wrinkled it was now.

Rose, please come to my room, Lissa said through the bond. Through the bond, I could sense how excited she was, but I couldn't figure out why she wanted me to go to her room. I ran out of my room, not bothering to lock the door. I highly doubt anyone will barge in and steal something. While I was running down the hallway, I attempted to tie my hair into a ponytail. I failed miserably, but it sufficed. I really just needed to keep my hair out of my face. The wind was blowing hard outside, and I don't like it when my hair blocks my vision.

I managed to get to Lissa's room within five minutes, and even she was impressed. When she answered the door she greeted me with a "Rose, I'm not in danger. You didn't need to hurry."

I stepped past her and into the room. "So how are the soon-to-be parents?"

For once in Christian's life, he gave me a genuine smile. "Amazing. Thanks for asking."

I was a little taken aback from Christian's attitude, and didn't know how to respond. I turned to Lissa, who was beaming with happiness. "So, why did you want me to come, Liss?"

"Well, you told me we would continue our conversation 'later'. And, I have time now!" I quickly glanced at Christian, and she shrugged. "He's not one to gossip, Rose. The worst you'll get is the usual... suggestive comment. Now spill!"

I sat down in the chair by her desk, slouching in defeat. "What do you want to know?"

"You said it started the night I got kidnapped. How did that happen?"

I gave a nervous laugh, and stared down at the floor. "Victor wanted us to be distracted. He, uh, put a lust spell on us."

Her eyes went wide. "You lost your virginity the night I was kidnapped?"

Christian's eyes went wide. "You were a virgin before Guardian Belikov?"

I shot him my best death glare. Lissa asked me to tell me everything that's happened since the lust spell. I did. And, it felt good to finally open up to her. It was killing me to keep so many secrets from her, even though I knew it was necessary. You could tell she was relieved, too. After a couple hours of talking she was tired, so I left her and Christian alone. On my way back to my room, a couple girls were staring at me in awe. I gave them a questioning look, and one of them- she was a Conta, I believe. Camille's younger sister- ran up to me. I instantly backed away from her, weirded out by her enthusiasm.
