(Owens POV)
"If you want to you can or you can hang out with me, Seth, Jack and Kacey. It will be just like when I babysit you and Kayla just without her and with these three weirdos." I tell Lex.
"Okay..no Kayla..?"
"No Kayla." I see her smile a bit. "How about we go change then we can camp out here tonight on the trampoline."
"That sounds fun!" She giggles a bit. We all dry off then go inside to change. I overhear mom talking to the girls.
"It's not nice to say it's weird that someone likes the same gender..boys can like boys and girls can like girls. It is completely allowed and I will not deal with you girls treating Lexi like that. I want you to think about how you made her feel. She's really upset."
I sight a bit. The only reason I went off is because Seth told me recently that he is gay. I know now he is more scared than ever because of how Kayla feels about the whole situation.
"Hey Seth..it's going to be alright..you can tell everyone when you are ready. Kayla is just young..the sooner she understands the better." He just nods.
A few minutes later we are all change and I got some blankets from the closet to put around the trampoline. I set it up as quickly as possible with Seth before the twins and Lex come outside.
(Alexis's POV)
When I leave the bathroom Kayla, Georgie, Maddie and Frankie are there. "What..?"
"We are sorry.." Kayla says.
"It's fine.." I say walking past them to the backyard. I see Owen, Seth and the twins in the trampoline already. I go over and struggle to get in.
Owen smiles then helps me in. "There you go little one. I like your hoodie!" I smile a bit.
"Aunt Rae gave it to me on my birthday." It's my favorite hoodie.
"It's very nice. Do you want me or Seth to do your hair now?" He asks.
"Ummmmmmm..you." I say and hug him.
"Okay." Within a few minutes I have two braids and Seth set up Disney+ on the laptop.
"What movie?" Kacey asks.
"Cars?" I ask quietly.
"Anything you want Lex!" Seth puts on Cars and I smile watching the movie. When we finish their mom calls us in. The boys get out and I tear up. They're leaving me..
"Lex..no no no don't cry. It's okay." Seth says and holds me on his hip.
"I thought you and Owen were leaving me.." I mumble.
"We would never! We were just getting out to help you out." He explains.
"Oh okay." I wipe my tears and rest my head on his shoulder. Seth smiles and brings me inside for pizza.
"We are going to paint nails Lexi. Want to join us?" Kayla asks.
"N-no thank you. I don't like painting my nails.." I tell them. I remember the time Aunt Rae and Poki tried to paint my nails...they chose pink and I scraped it off when it dried..
When we are all done I go over to Kayla's mom and tap her leg. She looks down and smiles a bit. "What can I do for you sweetie?"
"Can I call my daddy..I..I miss him.." I admit shyly.
"I actually have a business call in a few minutes but you can use Owens phone if you'd like."
"Okay thank you." I hug her leg and go out back to see just Owen and Seth in the trampoline.
"Where's jack and Kacey?"
"They went to a friends house." Owen says and helps me up.
"Oh okay..can I call my daddy? I miss him.." I admit looking down at my hands.
"Of course little one." Owen hands me his phone and I type in daddy's phone number. It rings a few times before I hear Sykkuno answer on speaker phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Sykkuno."
"Lex?"
"Yeah. I missed you and daddy.."
"Aww..we miss you too. You want to talk to your dad?"
"Yes!"
"Okay Lex."
"Hey Lexi. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah. I just missed you a lot.."
"I'm missing you too pumpkin. How's the sleepover going?" Owen and Seth look at each other. Seth looks like he's about to die.
"Umm..not too well. Kayla and the others didn't like me because I have two dads and we went swimming which wasn't too fun..and now they're painting nails. But I'm hanging out with Owen and Seth!"
"Oh no..are you having a better time now?"
"Yeah daddy. Owen and Seth are amazing."
"Well they better be treating my buddy great."
"Yes sir we are." Owen tells him.
"Is that true bud?"
"Yes Daddy. We are having a great time."
"Okay. Well I want you asleep soon."
"Okay."
"I love you bud."
"I love you too." We hang up and I give the phone to Owen. "One more movie?" I ask with puppy eyes.
"Ughhh how can I say no to that face?" I just giggle and they put on Finding Dory.
