Chapter 16

Parrish

I woke up, and looked over seeing that Mateo wasn't next to me, I stood up and walked out the room walking around.

I walked to his office, he was sitting in the chair behind the desk, and he had a cigar in his hand.

I walked over and grabbed the cigar putting it out and sitting in his lap, he looked up and blew the smoke out his mouth.

He looked back down, and grabbed my thighs rubbing up and down on them, pecking my lips, making me smile.

"There's this gala in like a month," He states and I look at him, "I want you to be my date." He says.

"Would you be my date Parrish?" He questions and I nod my head smiling, "Of course." I say.

"My parents will be there, I wanted to tell you this," He says and I look at him for a second, "You want me to meet your parents?" I ask.

He nods, "Of course baby I want to spend the rest of my life with you, you would meet my parents at some point." He says.

I giggle, "Well I want you too meet mines first, for clarification." I say and he nods, "Set a date I'll be there." He says.

I smile, pecking his lips, "I love you too." I say and he stops looking at me, "You heard that?" He questions.

I laugh nodding my head, "I did." I say, he smiles, "It felt nice to get it off my chest even if you didn't hear it." He says.

I smile, "Come to bed." I say and he nods picking us both up, and walking to our bedroom closing the door behind him.

I jump down and get in the bed and turn to him as he gets in bed, we watch eachother for a while then we dozed off.

The day to meet Parrish's parents....

"Baby you could at least look nervous." I say fixing his tie, he smiles at me, I knock on the door, soon my Dad opens the door and I smile.

"Hey Dad." I say wrapping my arms around him, kissing his cheek, "This is Matteo." I say making my Dad smile at him.

"It's nice to meet you." Matteo says holding his hand out, my Dad smiles and shakes his hand pulling him into a hug.

"It's nice to meet you too." He states and I smile, we walk further into the house and I see my Father on the couch.

"Hi Father." I say walking over pulling Matteo with me, I lean down and kissed his cheek, as he looks at Matteo.

"It's nice to meet you, sir." Matteo says, my dad looks at Matteo's hand, "Nice too meet you to." My Father says.

I kick his leg and he looks at me and shakes Matteo's hand, "I would like to talk to Matteo." My Father says.

I look at him and he looks at me, "It's a friendly conversation baby." My Father says and I sigh.

Matteo leans down and kissed my forehead, and I smile watching as my Father and Matteo walk to his office.

We set the dining table, when we finish we put the food out to and Matteo and my father still weren't done talking.

After a while, they finally emerged from my Father's office and my Father walked over to my Dad and wrapped his arms around him.

Matteo walked over kissing my cheek, and wrapped his arms around my waist, I wrapped my arms under his and around his torso.

After a while we all sat down and started eating, "So Matteo What do you do for a living?" My Dad asks.

"I own a few business, and run a Mafia, and a cartel." He says and I almost choke on my food, grabbing my sweet tea.

I look at him and he smiles at me, I'm gonna kill him, "Oh." My Dad says and I strach my head sighing.

After we finish diner we chatted for a little while after and then we went home, I plopping on the couch.

Matteo sat beside me, grabbing my feet and taking my shoes off, I slapped his chest and he looks up at me rubbing it.

He furrows his eyebrows, "Why?" He says, I look at him as he massages my feet, "Why would you tell them you run a Cartel." I say.

He smiles, "Calm down baby, just know everything's okay, okay?" He says as he leans down and kisses my lips.

I sigh and lay back on the couch, this feet rub is putting me in heaven right now, Matteo stops picking me up.

He walks us to the room and starts a bath, he helps me take off my clothes and sets me in the tub.

He strips and gets in the shower while I close my eyes playing with the bubbles in the tub, he gets out wrapping a towel around himself.

He comes over and leans down pecking my lips, he smiles, I bath and get out the tub, we walk to the room.

We get in the bed and face eachother as we just talk about random things, "The galas in a couple of weeks." He says.

"Giovanni says he would go shopping with you whenever you feel up to it." He says and I smile at this.

"I'll text him tomorrow and set a date with him," I say and he nods, "I love you." He says looking me in the eyes.

If I was lighter I would be red as a tomato, I smile kissing his cheek before laying back down, "I love you too." I says.

"I want to be the big spoon tonight." I say and he chuckled turning over and I cuddle up behind him.

I wrap my arms around his body, lay the best I can after a few minutes I sigh, "I don't like this position." I state.

He laughs turning back around wrapping his arms around my body pulling me closer to him, "How bout this?" He says.

I nod smiling, closing my eyes, feeling him kiss the top of my head, I smile sleepily, and cuddle closer to him.

I stir awake to Matteo in the middle of the room speaking Italian in a whisper yell, he comes and sits on the bed with his back facing me.

I sit up and wrap my arms around his torso, laying my head on his back as he hangs the phone up.

"You need to sleep and stop stressing baby it's not good for you." I say, he sighs and pulls me infront of him.

"I know baby, I'll start getting more sleep." He says and I smile, "Good, now come back to bed." I say.

He stands up walking to one side of the bed sitting me down then walking to the other side laying down.

"Go back to sleep baby." He says kissing my foreahead and I smile, I peck his lips and close my eyes to go back to sleep.
