Chapter 26

Matteo

I wait as the doctor began to speak, "She is fine she just needed some stitches and she was fine, she was starting to wake up on the table that why the machine was going crazy." He says I let a sigh.

He spoke some more and I listened intently as he spoke and rocked the baby in my arms.

I was too scared to leave him alone so he was asleep in my arms as I continue to rock him.

"She's awake in room 315." He say and we nod and all walk to the elevator and get inside.

I lean down and kissed his head and he starts to stir then he flutters his eyes and I fall in love even more when he looks up at me.

I smile and he giggles I hear a ding and look up as we walk towards her room and open the door she's up.

She's just sitting there as we walk inside she looks at us and then at the baby in my arms and tears start to run down her face.

She reached for him and I hurry walking over to her and carefully hand he the baby and she leans down kissing his forehead.

We all have a seat and I sigh rubbing my eyes and look up at Parrish, she looks away from the baby and touches my cheek.

I lean into her touch happy that I get to feel it again, I kiss her palm and look up at her.

She scoots over and I climb into the bed beside her and wrap my arm around her and and we stared down at our baby.

Everyone left the room to give us a moment, I sigh, "I was scared." I admit and she looks at me.

"I was too, but we're still here, and that's all that matters right now." She says reaching up and touching my face.

I lean down and peck her lips, and she gives me a smile that just makes me feel a little better.

I sigh as we both look at the sleeping child in her arms I smiled at the child we had created.

Soon after My dad, My mom, Parrish's Father, and Dad walk inside the room and walk over to us.

They were all in Italy getting to know one another better and they had just flown in.

"Ohh Parrish I'm glad your okay, we were all so worried." My mother said walking over and hugging her lightly.

"I thought I had lost you baby." Her dad said and walked over and kissed all over her face and hugged her.

"Ohh Parrish I'm glad you are alright you gave this old man quite a scare." He says hugging her.

She smiled and shook her head, "Ohh we don't need that." She says and and they laugh together.

Her father walked over to her and I took the baby as he hugged her and stuffed her face in his chest.

"You scared me, my only child, my only daughter." He says and she sighs kissing his cheek, "I know father." She says.

Then they all turn to me and then the baby, "Omg! He's beautiful! Can I hold him?" My mother asks

We nods and they all clean their hands and take turns hold him, after Parrish's father held him he was asleep.

I put him in his cradle and he snuggled more into his blankets and I smiled kissing his head.

I get back in bed and Parrish's parents and mine promise to come back tomorrow when visiting hours start.
