Chapter 17: The Realization

No one's POV:

Though the cut wasn't that deep, the two teens were already on the verge of crying. Tokoyami shuts his eyes, trying to prevent them from watering. Asui on the other hand, had sparkles in her eyes. She looks up at the villain, but with her watery eyes, Serian's figure was a bit blurry.

"P-please, let us go." The woman didn't bother answering and tied Tokoyami's wrist back together. Afterwards, another villain walked into the room.
"Hey Serian, how are you holding up with them two."
"Cut them both once. They tried to send our location."
"Oh, well in that case cut them a bit more." Without any hesitation, Serian cut the teens once more. The cuts were a bit deeper this time and more blood came out. Asui started to cry, while Tokoyami started screaming.

"Shut up or I'll cut you again." Serian held the knife up in a threatening way, making the two students become silent.
"Do you need me here?"
"No thanks Dabi. I can handle them." The male sighs.
"Fine, just call me when you need me I guess." Dabi then walks out of the room, closing the door afterwards. Aside from Asui's sniffles and Tokoyami's heavy breathing, the room was quiet. Serian was sitting on a chair reading a newspaper.

Serian kept reading until Mr. Compress walked into the room.
"Hello Serian, just came to check in on the two kids." She just hums in response and continues reading.
"Oh by the way, they fell asleep." Serian looks up to see Asui and Tokoyami sleeping.
"That's good, it makes the job easier." Mr. Compress chuckled slightly at her humor before leaving the room.

"Deku-Kun, don't you think Tsuyu-Chan and Tokoyami-Kun have been out for a while?" The green haired boy turned to her.
"Now that you say that, I haven't seen them all day."
"When they come back, Iida-Kun will most likely scold them for being out for a while." Midoriya chuckled at Uraraka's assumptions before wondering why Asui and Tokoyami have been out for so long. The brown haired girl noticed the concern in the boy's eyes.

"Hey Midoriya, Uraraka!" Kirishima ran up to the said boy.
"Oh hi there Kirishima-Kun!"
"Have you two seen Tokoyami and Tsuyu? Kaminari and Sero both told me that they saw them leave the dorms a few hours ago. I'd figured they'd be back, but when I knocked on their dorm room doors, no one answered." The three stood in silence before gasping in unison at what could have possibly happened.

"I'll go get Aizawa-Sensei!" Midoriya ran towards the teachers' dorms and knocked multiple times on the door. A woman with dark purple hair opened the door.
"Oh hi there Midoriya! What seems to be the problem?"
"Tsuyu-Chan.. and Tokoyami-Kun.." The boy was out of breath.
"Here come inside." Midnight opened the door wider to let Midoriya in. The other adults present were Present Mic, Thirteen, and All Might.

"Hello young Midoriya! What brings you here?" The boy sat down, taking a breather before speaking.
"Tsuyu-Chan and Tokoyami-Kun haven't arrived back at the dorms after a few hours." They sat there in silence, the teachers' eyes wide open.
"SHOTA!" A few seconds later, a black haired male ran down the stairs.

"What do you wa- Midoriya? Why are you here?"
"He says that Asui and Tokoyami haven't been at the dorms for a while."
"Where were they heading?" Everyone in the room stayed quiet. After a short while, Aizawa sighs.
"So you're all telling me, that they left WITHOUT NO ONE KNOWING WHERE THEY WERE GOING?!"

"W-well, Kirishima-Kun said that Kaminari-Kun and Sero-Kun saw them before they l-" Before Midoriya could finish, Aizawa left the teachers' dorms and ran towards the 1A dorms. Soon, Midoriya ran after him. When he got back to the dorms, Aizawa was already inside shouting for Sero and Kaminari.
"DENKI KAMINARI AND HANTA SERO GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW."

"Whoa there chief calm down."
"Yeah, what did we do to upset the sleepy caterpillar?" The adult took a deep breath before talking.
"Where did Tokoyami and Asui go?" The two boys shrugged.
"I don't know."
"Tokoyami said that he was going out to get fresh air, and Tsuyu said she was going to the mall to buy snacks."
"And what time was that?"
"Around 12pm."

"They've been gone for almost seven hours!"
"I mean they could just be doing stuff if you know wh-" Aizawa wraps his capture weapon around Mineta.
"Who has either of their phone numbers?"
"I have Tsuyu-Chan's!"
"I'm pretty sure Shoji has Tokoyami's number."
"Uraraka, dial Asui." She did as told and no one answered.

"N-no response." Aizawa sighs and calls Shoji to come down.
"Shoji, can you call Tokoyami?"
"I've been trying to call him, but no one answered." Everyone stood there, realizing what happened to the two teens.
