Chapter 15: Talk and Such

Serian's POV:

I walked into the room where Shigaraki, Toga, Dabi, and the two kids. I also saw Kurogiri there and decided to stand next to him.
"Did you have any trouble capturing them Serian?" Without looking at him, I answered.
"Kind of. You said they were from UA right?"
"Yes, that is indeed." I hummed in response and continued to stare at Shigaraki talking to the kids.
"So I guess you two are wondering why you're here, right?" I looked at the boy. He seemed a bit tired, since Dabi woke him up. The two kids nodded their heads slightly.

"Well, we were supposed to get only one of you to toture until you were either saved by those so called heros, or until you gave in and joined our group." Though I was behind the two teens, I could tell they had a shocked expression.
"But who were you trying to get and why??" Shigaraki pointed to him.

"We were only supposed to get you because your quirk is powerful. If I remember correctly, MoonFish was injured because you couldn't control your quirk. Your quirk took over your body and destroyed a lot of trees, hurting some or one of your friends in the process." I tilt my head to see the boy's face. He was looking down at the ground, he seemed both upset and angry. The girl however, looked pissed.

"Ribbit, that wasn't his fault! He tried his best to control it! What about you?! What happens if you accidentally touched someone with all five fingers and they start to disintegrate?! Unlike Ochaco-Chan, you have no way of stopping that! So you and Tokoyami-Kun both have overpowered quirks, but at least he's able to control his, if he keeps practicing."

Shigaraki started scratching his neck out of both anger, and not accepting the fact that she was right.
"Shut up!" He grabbed a nearby newspaper and disintegrated it. The kids flinched and kept quiet.
"First of all, no one asked. Second, Toga." She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, humming in response.

"Look after them." Her face went from confusion to excited really quick.
"Yay! Thanks Tomura!"
"Yeah whatever." He leaves the room.
"I suggest we should leave too and let Toga do her thing." Dabi nodded and left, while I stayed standing.

"I'll stay here."
"Are you sure? Knowing Toga, it may get gruesome."
"I'm sure." He sighed.
"If you say so. If you get hungry let me know." I hum and nod in response, not taking my eyes off at the three teens in the middle of the room. He leaves the room and closes the door. I sat down in a chair near me and watched as Toga did what she was instructed. Instead of focusing on what she was saying, I remembered what Kurogiri told me.

•Flashback: A week ago•

"This is the victim." He hands me a picture of a boy with a bird head.
"From what we know, he studies at UA and his name is Tokoyami Fumikage. His quirk is Dark Shadow. It is extremely powerful at night and weaker during the day."

"How does his quirk work?"
"It's a monster-like shadow that can be used for both offense and defense. It cannot feel pain, yet it gets stronger if Tokoyami is in rage."
"I see. So he's both a mutant and emitter." Kurogiri hums in response.

"What do I need to do?"
"We want you to capture him and bring him here. You can use the information I've just told you to come up with a plan." I looked at the picture as my mind filled with ideas on how to capture this kid.
"While you're brainstorming, do you want anything to drink?"

"I guess coffee will be okay." He nodded and made my coffee. The doors to the room we were in opened and a blonde walked in.
"Kuro- oh my god are you the new person?!" I sighed and nodded, knowing exactly the type of person she is.

"My name is Serian."
"What a cute name! What's your quirk??"
"Therianthropy"
"That sounds super cool! I'm Himiko Toga!" I hummed in response. I then thought of an idea that would work for sure.
"Hey, Kurogiri?" He was finishing making my drink and turned to me.
"Yes?"
"I have a plan."

•End of flashback•

I watched as Toga kept asking questions to the two kids.
"Are you sure that you two aren't dating or something??"
"Yes, we are not dating."
"Lies." She hissed and I sighed.
"Toga just leave them alone." She whined and the kids turned to me.

"Fine, only because you're nicer than Tomura." She then turned her attention towards me.
"Sooo, Serian, have you dated someone before?" I raised an eyebrow at the blonde teen.
"Where's this coming from?"
"Oh, because I was asking if they were dating." She pointed at the two kids, their eyes were also on me. I roll my eyes.

"No, I haven't been in a relationship." Toga's face turned from curiosity to disappointed quick.
"Why??"
"I don't think being in a relationship is necessary."
