Chapter 16: Uneasy Feeling

Tokoyami's POV:

I stared at the woman, who's known as Serian.
"I don't think being in a relationship is necessary." When I heard her say that, I felt uneasy. Soon someone entered the room.
"Guess who!"
"Twice!!" Toga ran to Twice and hugged him.
"Where were you?"
"Outside! Smoking. Hey Serian! What's up?"
"The ceiling."
"Well then bi-"
"Language!"
"I'm sorry! You crazy. Marry me!" They all, well, Twice and Toga kept talking while Serian left the room. I tried to whisper to Asui, who was focusing on the two villains in the room.

"Hey." She turned around to face me.
"Yes? Do you have a plan to escape?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing." We then just stared at each other for a few seconds to a minute. I then let out a sigh.
"I guess we both don't."
"Ribbit. We can either try to untie the ropes and escape, which will most likely lead us into Shigaraki-Kun's hands literally. Or we can wait here until pro heros come, which might take a while."

"I'm guessing the first option would lead us back to either square one but injured badly, or death. I know we both don't want either." She nods in agreement.
"And all though the second option seems doable, these are the League of Villains we're dealing with. Staying here until the pros come could get us injured as well, especially if it takes a while." Asui sighs and looks around.
"I think those are our phones over there." I looked at the direction she was staring at. There were two phones facing down on a table, one case being plain black and the other pastel green with a lily pad phone charm.

"We can wait until no villains are present in this room. If that happens, immediately try untying your ropes. If you're done, I'll hand you your phone. Send our location to all contacts you have with a text saying help. I'll put your phone back on the table afterwards." I thought about it for a moment. I then nod, looking back at the two villains in the room. Fortunately, they were still talking, not having a clue about what we were discussing.
"We're going to be here for a while."
"Ribbit." I still had that uneasy feeling from earlier. It feels like confusion and uncertainty.

*Yo, Fumikage, you alright?? You're zoning out a bit.*
*I don't know. What Serian said about relationships a few minutes ago, I couldn't help but feel the same way.*
*What do you mean??* I sigh
*I kind of agree with her.*
*But don't you have a crush on Tsu??*
*I don't know bu-*
"Tokoyami-Kun? Are you okay?" I snapped back to reality and turned to Asui.
"Oh, I'm fine. C-can we talk about something though?" It became silent between us for a bit until she nodded.

"Do you remember what the woman said? About relationships?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I thought it was weird she said that. Why'd you ask?" I sighed. What if I told her what I felt about it and she thinks I'm becoming a villain or something? What if that ruins our friendship? What if-
"Tokoyami-Kun??" I snapped out of my thoughts.
"I just wanted to ask, sorry for bothering you."
"Oh it's okay."

Asui's POV:

Tokoyami is hiding something from me, I just know it! It's weird that he asked me that out of nowhere. Suddenly, Kurogiri walks into the room.
"Toga, Twice, Shigaraki wants to talk to you and the rest of the group."

"Yey group meeting!!" With that, the three villains left the room, closing the door afterwards.
"Well, that was quick." I turned to Tokoyami who already started on untying his ropes. I grabbed his phone with my tongue and placed it on my lap.
"Okay, I'm done." I looked at him and saw that he was holding the rope.

"Wow. That was fast, ribbit."
"It's nothing special. Anyways, back to the plan?"
"Oh yeah, here." I took his phone and before he could grab it, Serian came out of nowhere, snatching it from my hands. We both flinch at her sudden appearance.

"Did you really think that they wouldn't have a guard in here to spectate you two?" She started walking towards a switch on the wall. She flicks it and the lights in the room become brighter. I squint my eyes and watched Serian walk back to us, with something in her hands. She placed the item on a nearby drawer to put on gloves, grabbing the item afterwards.
"Shigaraki told me that if I suspected that you two are doing something, I cut you both once."

No One's POV:

Serian pulls out a black rectangle-shaped item, and points it at Tokoyami. He and Asui looked at the item, with confusion. Then, with a flick of her wrist, a shiny blade pops out of the item. The two teens flinched, replacing their confused faces with scared ones.
"Butterfly knife. Been using these for 14 years." She then cuts both Tokoyami and Asui's arms, their first of many.
