Troye’s POV-
I watch the green blur rush under me as I fly over this familiar scenery. I hear laughter and shouts a little ways off and fly even quicker. I stop abruptly when I see the sources of laughter under me. I land in front of them and they all run to embrace me.
“Oh, Troye we have been so worried since you missed the last meeting,” Mackenzie says and gestures to the rest of the group.
“I’m sorry guys. Look, I need your help. It’s really important,” I plead.
“Anything for you, Troye,” Carrie says with a kind smile.
“I just have some questions,” I explain.
“Let’s go over there, in private,” Ray sas and point to a grouping of trees forming a roof from anyone flying above us.
We walk over and situate ourselves on fallen tree trunks and the forest floor.
“Ok, we’re ready,” Mackenzie says and they all smile encouragingly at me.
“Have you guys,do you guys ever experience anything other elements don’t?” I ask.
“I don’t know what you mean, like our powers?” Carrie says, confused.
“No, I mean like, well sometimes this thing happens to me and it’s like I can’t control myself and I get stronger and my eyes go black and my veins go black and I’m cold as ice. It’s the strangest thing because I know what’s happening and I can never stop it, the only time it has been broken before it just wore off, was when Tyler shined light power on me,” I explain and meet look up to meet Brandon’s eyes. I can tell he is thinking, he doesn’t talk much but I know he wants to say something now.
“Yeah, I can control it though once it has started. I don’t get any stronger though. I just get angry and like physically cold but my eyes and stuff never go black and I mean I just feel extremely angry, but I’m always able to calm myself down. That’s as much as I can relate to you,” Brandon explains and sighs.
“Yeah, we all get urges to like break something or whatever when this happens because the exact same thing happens to all of us as Brandon. I don’t know why you’re different, because it happens to all fires. It’s why we have a rep for bad tempers,” Mackenzie explains and I look around to see the others nodding in agreement.
“I don’t know guys, it’s just really weird and I can’t tell anyone,” I say.
“Yeah you can. We all did at one point and the elements advisors gave us really handy anger managment trips personalized for us,” Carrie offers.
“How come I never knew about any of this,” I ask.
