"Wait! where are you going?" Ember shouted as her shout echoed through the glade. She tried running in an attempt to follow them, she needed more answers.

They walked towards a small wooden shed, as she kept running to them smelling the grass with and cooked food in the air, passing right next to her. Her hair waving in the thin air, the trees moving from the wild wind. As she reached their backs she placed her hand onto the blonde boy's shoulder. "Well since you guys don't wanna tell me anything; tell me this," She tried turning the boy his body, with all of her force it wasn't possible.

Even though she tried stopping him from walking he didn't stop. His muscles were tense, his shoulders back and he didn't even pay the slightest attention to what she had to say. "Why don't you guys just answer me!" She yelled at them, with just one yell they both just, stopped. They stopped walking.. ?

The silence after that one shout, that one moment of tension immediately made everything go silent. The only thing you could hear was the birds chirping, trees moving and wood being chopped around her.

The animals in the distance made everything more peaceful even though, Ember didn't know why they were silent. Alby looked Newt in his eyes and whispered "You take care of this." Before he walked away Newt quickly nodded to Alby as they understood each other without saying much.

Newt took a deep sight as his shoulders lifted from the inhale, his belly tucked in, and with the exhale he turned his body around making only eye contact with the one thing standing infront of him, Ember. The sun shined in his brown eyes as he frowned his eyebrows, trying to look directly at Ember without the sun disturbing it.

"Listen Greenie, no questions, alright?" Ember looked up, her chin up almost tucked in the clouds since he was so damn tall. "I get you're scared, we all are." He looked away from Ember's eyes, looking god knows where.

"How long have you guys been here?" As soon as Ember asked the question Newt turned his head back to Ember, just standing there waiting for his answer, but his whole body language changed, from warm and friendly, to cold and distant.

Newt gulped as he answered with a straight-up answer "almost eight months." E.. Eight months?

Ember her whole mind froze, all of her hope vanished, just like her memories. Who put them here, who put me here? "Well did you guys find anything out, or, a way out?"

Ember's mind couldn't think clearly, it was like she was back in the elevator, the loud noises, the lights. It felt like she was drowning all over again.

"Not yet, but the runners are working on it."

Runners? "What do you mean by Runners?" Ember questioned Newt as frowned eyebrows faded, he folded his arms together, continues looking up and down.

"I would love to answer that love, but I have orders." Newt turned around as he started giving Ember the tour, but all that wandered in Ember's mind was the word orders. Why was that so familiar to her? While she tried not thinking much of it, they started walking to the other side of the glade. "Ya see that?" Newt pointed at one of the many other sheds, but the one he pointed towards was a little different.

Even if it was in the distance, she saw seats everywhere, a big open window with pots and pans, and the rest wasn't really visible to see from their distance. The only thing that she did know what it was, was the incredible smell coming from it. It smelled like freshly cooked bacon, eggs, and more delicious, mixed smells.

They were all mixed into one, and she bet the whole glade could smell it. "It smells delicious here, what is that?" Ember kept smelling the air, inhaling and exhaling through her nose, it almost felt like her small cold had vanished from just that smell.

"It's frypan, he cooks almost every minute he gets." Newt grinned as he inhaled the smell too, he too, couldn't resist.

"Frypan, as in a fry pan?" Ember looked dead ass serious towards Newt as he almost couldn't keep his laugh in.

They looked each other in the eyes and realized what Ember had just said was really stupid. They both burst out laughing and for a second there, every bad thing that had happened to Ember, disappeared. The arriving at the glade, the Elevator, the way she lost all of her memories, her family, friends, Everything.

It almost felt like everything went in slow motion for Ember, the cute face of the glader, she couldn't stop looking at, her hearing her own laugh mixed with the one from Newt.

"What's so funny Greenie?" A tall boy walked over to them as soon as Newt saw him, his loud laugh slowly stopped, Ember didn't saw him, but she did saw Newt stopping, she also heard the boy talking to them, ruining their moment. "Oh, who are you?" Ember asked without any hesitation.

The boy was tall, but not as tall as Newt was, he had really short hair, and there was one particular thing about him, his eyebrows. Why are you so familiar? Ember questioned herself, without thinking much of it, it was like she knew him, but every time she tried remembering, she saw a blank spot in her memories, it couldn't be filled in, it was like the missing piece couldn't be found, how hard you look.

"What do you mean, familiar?" Ember's head turned as fast as she could towards the boy, and without any hesitation, she walked to him, standing just infront of his tall body. How did he hear that? "Nevermind, I asked your name." The boy looked up and down, observing the girl infront of him, he struggled to remember too. "I could ask you the same question Greenie." The boy his hand movements as he talked made the whole situation even crazier than it was before.

"You know what? screw you, I'm leaving." Without a glance back Ember marched towards the shed Newt was suppose to tour Ember, but instead, she had other plans. "Wait!" She heard Newt shouting in the distance, she tried shutting it out.

He isn't fast enough to keep up with me anyway.

As Ember kept her thoughts away from taking over, making her overthink every situation she entered the shed's window. Ember looked into the shed bending over the window, almost letting everything trip. All she could see was a.. kitchen? She tried looking into every corner of the inside, trying to find this person named 'Frypan'. "Heelloo.. ?"

Even though she watched every angle of the room she couldn't see anybody, so she decided to open the door next to the window, and take a look herself.

She took her hands on the doorknob and without any effort, as the door opened and she entered the small room. It had pots and pans hanging over the window, hanging on the walls. she slid her fingers across the counter as she walked through the whole room. Herbs, food everything was over the place, but it wasn't as bad as she thought.

The kitchen smelled like there was freshly cooked food everywhere. Ember couldn't believe it smelled so good, at least that made her feel happy.

"What are you doing in my kitchen?" A guy behind her said, making Ember jump immediately, it almost felt like her heart skipped a beat.
