Sorry for the long waiting, enjoy!
Ember turned herself around as she pulled the shirt down, her body froze as she saw Newt standing in the hall, his eyes focused onto her body and back to her now bigger eyes.
"I needed a t-shirt." Ember said with a plain voice, looking directly to the ground.
She hadn't any intention to look him in the eyes, everytime she tried, her eyes would fall back onto the wooden ground as she twirled her hands around one of her many locks.
"Sorry, I-I'll go I didn't saw anything, I- bye." Newt stuttered as he rubbed his hand on his neck, turning himself around as he walked away as if his legs were made out of wood.
Ember turned herself around back to the chest, kneeling down onto the chest as she had realised she had embarrassed herself in front of the second in command.
She tried brushing off the red cheeks she felt, as she stood up again. A deep inhale filled her lungs as she started walking out of the door, the shed became darker with every slow minute. She opened the door to hear crickets chirping, birds stopped singing and the night sky was now black with shining stars.
Ember walked towards the big campfire near the shed of Frypan's as she stuffed the big t-shirt she had borrowed into her dirty pants, but she failed as it was too thick to fit-- unless she wanted to look like a weirdo with stuffed pants.
"Hey guys." she said as she sat herself down, leaning onto of the logs. "What are you guys doing?" Ember asked one of the boys near her.
"They're just play fighting, you can join, not that you can take it." The boy chuckled as he looked at his friends next to him, bumping each others arms against one another.
"Want to bet?" Ember said as her mood changed.
She felt the sudden urge to show she wasn't just a girl in the glade. She pulled herself up as she almost slipped off the log, leaving a splinter-- and yet another laugh was made from the same boys.
"I don't think you want to underestimate me, shank." His chuckle turned into a serious looking face as his eyebrows frowned more. His hair was short, kind of curly but it wasn't important to Ember, she wanted to beat him.
The boy stood up as he walked towards the big box filled with sand, around it a small fence made of wood. A whole group of boys surrounded it, about fifteen.
Before Ember stepped inside of the box a hand grabbed Ember's shoulder. "Don't do it, you're hurt." A boy whispered in her ear.
"I can take care of myself, it's healing anyway. It's okay Gally."Ember assured the concern as he pulled his hand off the shoulder.
Ember looked at the tall boy standing in sand box, his feet were already sunk into the sand, his hands were tightly gripping as it formed a fist and a nasty grin appeared on his face. Boys started shouting as some were cheering.
"Well, throw the first punch." The boy challenged, Ember realised she had never fought.
As the itchy feeling of revenge creeped onto her she walked towards the boy, throwing her fist into the air. He avoided it by stooping, and Ember stumbled as boys kept laughing.
Boys laughed as the embarrassment filled Ember, but she wasn't ready to give up despite the redness of her cheeks. The boy stood straight as he punched Ember in the face, making her fall backwards.
Suddenly her nose burned as blood dripped onto her fingers, her sight was slightly blurry as boys kept laughing. Ember pulled herself up by using her arms, even though they felt too heavy to even lift.
Ember challenged the boy more as she used a specific hand signal, making his grin disappear from his unharmed face. He ran towards Ember as her sight started coming back. She saw the boy running towards her as he tried tackling her.
Fortunately, for her she just walked to the side as the boy felt into the sand with his face covered in dusty sand. A groan was made as Ember chuckled looking at the only boy not cheering, Gally.
Ember grinned as she looked him in the eyes, staring as if her eyes were glued to his. He grinned, while Ember felt a strong hit on her back as she felt down onto the sand. A hand was onto Ember's face as it tried to sink it into the sand.
"Not so tough now huh." The boy said with a dangerous tone; his arms pushed her face into the sand as the air began to run out quick.
The boys quickly realised he wasn't joking anymore as he kept pushing her head into the sand and before Ember ran out of air, he was pushed off by a few boys as Ember reached out for the cold air.
"Are you crazy? We don't harm each other, not that way." A boy shouted while they held both of his arms, his small curls hung over his forehead. He kept grunting for air, as if he was the one running out of air instead of Ember.
"She's crazy, I'm telling you man!" The boy yelled, grunting, looking deadly at Ember.
Ember turned herself around as her hair was everywhere, including in front of her eyes. She saw the boy looking her deadly in the eyes as he tried going close. "I saw her!" The boy shouted.
"George that's enough!" Alby said with a raised voice. "The rule is not to attack another glader."
Ember sat up as she pulled her hair back, wiping away the blood from her nose, which was now covered in dirty sand. Her hand gripped onto her shoulder as she felt a slight sting onto it, the same one she feels every ten minutes.
"Are you okay?" Gally asked as he grounded next to Ember, looking at her with knitted eyebrows.
"Yeah, thank you Gally." Ember grinned as she looked back at him, his hand gripped onto her other shoulder as she felt that familiar feeling she always felt.
"What are they going to do with George?" Ember sighted in between her sentence, she hadn't recognized him before. "They thought they cured him, that's why he was roaming around the forest."
Ember realized all of the times she saw him. "When he came back out of the forest completely unharmed, they didn't expect anything." He sighted looking back at George, growling at every boy touching him.
"Especially since you hadn't told them." He said looking back at Ember.
