As the confusion stroke, Ember kept wondering what the trials would be like, what they were going to do to her "It's time to step into the tube, Ember." The woman said to her with a serious look, and Ember wasn't quite sure what to expect from what was about to happen. She felt terrified but knew what had to be done, and she hoped, she was going to be with her friend Lizzy, or at least with her brother 'if he was still alive.' The thought already made her sick to even be thinking about it.

As they opened the tube infront of Ember, she slowly stepped in as she tried to keep the nervousness inside of her. She watched the people infront of her closing the door with a device in their hands, and as they clicked on the final buttons, she closed her eyes, trying to relax even though it really scared her.

It's going to be okay, I promise. Her brother told her before they were taken, she tried clamping onto that thought, it was the only thing keeping her brave. As the tube kept filling with water, slowly from her feet to her legs she couldn't keep herself in. Her whole body started freaking out as it tried to survive and the water-filled quickly, already at her waist, growing even more and more.

As Ember freaked out more she realised- she didn't wanted this anymore, she wanted to get out. She knew that they weren't gonna let her back out. Were they going to drown her. As her thoughts made her even more anxious,

"Please let me out, I don't want this anymore!" She yelled as she slammed her hands onto the glass, terrified of what they were going to do, they weren't going to send her in the maze, they were gonna kill her. "Please, I beg you please!" The water was already at her neck, and as she took her last scream and breath the tube was filled making her screams turn into bubbles.

She felt like floating in it, as she was screaming, begging for her life as she saw a boy coming into the room and immediately, she recognized that face.

Her hair started floating in the water as her sad eyes starting stinging from the moving water. Her screams weren't enough, especially since the water prevented it.

She tried screaming, trying to be heard but it hadn't any effect since the water prevented the sound. As the boy stood at the other side of the big table in the middle, all she could feel was happiness but also- absolutely being terrified from top to toe too.

That face, she knew it yet it looked like a completely different face then when she was younger. But she couldn't keep thinking about that, her life was slowly being taken away as the boy watched.

As she tried to keep screaming she ran out of air, trying to keep her last over air in her lungs, but before she knew it she saw everything go blurry. All the people infront of her, who told her it was going to be okay lied, even that boy Thomas, all he would do was just stare at how she would be killed.

All those years in WICKED were for nothing but sorrow, pain, and no one to actually care for you, the only people you had were the people who were as broken and stuck as she was. The pain and betrayal were indescribable as her eyelids started to become heavy, and her body started to shake, it felt like she was outside in the snow, with nothing but a bikini on. She missed the feeling of the elements, snow, rain, everything she felt before WICKED She hadn't seen in years when she had arrived.

She couldn't believe they were going to kill a 14-year-old, it was supposed to be her birthday next week, how pathetic. Ember thought. As that was her last thought she slowly closed her eyes and let herself float in the cold water. And the last thing she felt was the stares coming through the glass, her most beautiful moments in life, and the cold water that slowly came into her lungs.
