The morning after the incident was calm before the storm. Kaeya had his ankle checked that morning as everyone was told he'd make a quick recovery due to only part of his ankle being heavily bruised and some parts were shattered, he was quickly healed for the shattered bones, but the bruise was going to be there for a solid two weeks.

Viox's burn wounds that had yet to fully heal tore open when she had landed on the ground, she was put on bed rest till the wounds closed up once more. Kaeya was not pleased by the news. As he limped over to her on the couch. The two had grown closer, but not in the way the two wanted. No this was more of comfort as one leaned on the other. They stayed put, Viox falling asleep around noon. Violet told Kaeya about Mondstadt's current issues. One being that the Knights were cleaning the wreckage along with some towns folk. Everyone was worried for the two who laid next to each other on Kaeya's couch.

"Out of twenty men...eleven died due to ice." Violet said, finishing the report. Kaeya nodded, "So now it's just clean up and then taking the last nine into questioning." He commented as he held Viox's hand in one of his own, the woman was asleep as he worried over her, checking on her breathing even though it was harsh and raspy due to her coughing fits from the smoke. He brushed his fingertips gently over Viox's warm ones, taking a moment to sooth his nerves as he looked at Violet. "Anything else?" He asked as Violet shook her head. Kaeya relaxed as he moved his hand to Viox's wrist, feeling her heartbeat strongly against his fingers. "You care for her..." Violet said softly as Kaeya froze, "You actually have fallen for someone..." she continued, "I remember when we courted, you had no interest in me, nor the dates we went on." She smiled as Kaeya's gaze locked with hers, "You need our parents approval before you can court her. She's the apple of our parents eye." Violet said gently before heading out, "Treat her right." She said not looking back at Kaeya, who had watched the other leave. All her words were true. He finally found the one that he cared for.

"Kaeya?" Viox rasped out as she moved to see the man, who leaned down and moved some hair away from her face, "Shush...your throat needs to rest." He said gently as Viox coughed, "Will you stay?" She asked after taking a moment from her fit. Kaeya nodded, "I'll stay." He said to her as Viox settled once more. The warmth from Kaeya's body and his cool fingertips and warm palm danced around her warm hand. Her breathing evened out slowly.

Violet had gone back to the scene as towns folk and Knights worked side by side, lifting and moving the damaged stalls. Diluc walked over, his jacket was tossed over his left arm as his vision dangled from his hip, "How are they?" He asked her as Violet sighed, rubbing one of her arms, "Viox is alright for the most part, she got put back on bed rest due to her wounds reopened, Kaeya is limping on a heavily bruised ankle, taking care of all of Viox's needs and not caring about himself. So I'd say for now, they're fine." Shd explained to the red haired man, who nodded, "That's a relief though." He said gently as Violet shrugged. Her night was interrupted due to the explosion in Mondstadt.

Violet rushed through the streets after she put on her dress for the evening, short in the front so she could run or fight, but long in the back just in case there were some peeping toms about Mondstadt. She smiled warmly as the breeze fluttered around her as she headed towards the Cathedral. Running up the stairs and dodging all sorts of towns folk, most were grouped up from where they were from, she wasn't surprised by that. As she made it past Diluc's first stall, the place had a line as she wiggled her way around it. Dashing up more steps, she finally arrived at the center spot for the Festival. Stalls everywhere in neat rows, some in the tunnels as most were just lined up. She smiled as she walked over to the Barbatos statue. That was the agreed meet up spot for the night. She carefully looked at the small pools of water surrounding the statue, "May The Seven guide us." She whispered softly as someone shouted about a dance in town Square. She smiled a little, she would go look for a minute or two, due to being early. She walked over to the small wall, looking down at the glittering city of Mondstadt, it was so beautiful and bright, lanterns with some people's wishes were written on them. Though the print was small, Violet couldn't read any. The music from below sounded loudly as she looked down. About a crowd of 50 people were dancing in large circles, twirling in and out, skirts flowed from the women and laughter rang from the men. The flow of colors were gorgeous in Violet's eyes as she leaned on the wall, watching as claps and stomps rang out along with the beat of drums, the violins strung out the oldest tune in Mondstadt, the beat was fast pace, as Violet watched with anticipation. Her hand gripped the stone as she watched the speed increase, that's when she spotted Kaeya and Viox dancing. She knew how well of a dancer Viox was due to they grew up as bards, traveling, singing, dancing, and learning languages.
