Stereotypes

People are supposed to support eachother

Like a daughter supported by her mother

But sometimes others do not understand

Everything being crammed

Into their minds

They do not find

That what they say

Can lead others astray

The odd ones

The weird ones

We're all people in this world

Everything unfurls

Sometimes right, others wrong

People sing their songs

To help others stay strong

The stereotypes hurt

But no one alerts

Emo, crazy, goth

The people who seem like moths

Among the butterflies,

And these moths deserve to fly

But they sit and cry

Feeling alone

Waiting for someone to call their phone

To comfort them

Being weird shouldn't have to be hard

It should be easy

We shouldn't want to get out of here

Now acting to be seem

In fear

That someone might point and laugh

Only living half

The life you should be living.
