Chapter 7: The Sleepover

I got to Tay's 10 minutes early. It was 6:50 and the other girls were coming at 7. I had to face it I was nervous. I hated meeting new friends. But, staying over night with them was a lot to ask. Tay and I went over the girls names. The first one was Courtney. Courtney was nice. Don't get her mad at you though she has a short temper. It was going to be easy to please he but if I say anything wrong or something slips out I'm done. She will tell the others to ditch me. The next girl is Sarah. Sarah isn't as nice as Courtney. Sarah was very forgiving though. If I mess up with her then at least I'll have another chance. Sarah is the one that handles all the gossip. I hated gossip but I knew she was nice. She would most likely be doing most of the talking which will draw the attention away from me which is a good thing. The last girl was Paige. Paige was mostly the leader of the group. She was going to be the hardest to please. Paige boyfriend was the star football player. Go figure. I doubt it if she remembers but I hate her. One time her boyfriend winked at me when Paige was sitting near me at a football game. I ended up being pushed down the rows of the bleachers. But how could I forget she dated D. This was going to be harder then I thought it would be.

The door bell went off. I felt sick I was so nervous. I just wanted to have my best friend back that's it. I hope she sees how much I love her for doing this. The girls walked in. Paige was carrying a stack full of movies. I completely forgot we were staying up all night to watch horror movies. This made my stomach hurt even worse. In Paige's hand she had Annabelle, Devils Due, The Conjuring, and Insidious 1 & 2. This was going to be a long night.

Paige was the first one to talk. "Hey Tay, hey Ally. I have an idea. Do you guys want to go get pedicures now and when we get back we will start our movies?" Everyone agreed so I agreed with them. So, we got into the car. This was the most awkward car trip in my life. We only had to go about 5 minutes to the mall. I sat in the back with Sarah. She was talking to me about her boyfriend. She was telling me how sometime all 5 of us should go watch him at his football game. I didn't want to say no so I said "umm, sure that sounds fun."

We walk into the mall and see a group of guys there. Of course Paige walls up to them. I guess one of them is her boyfriend. This was so weird. The rest of us walked over. These were all guys on the football team that thought they were so cool. Paige's boyfriend remembered me I could tell. He looked at me with sorry eyes. He clearly remembers that game when I got hurt. I just wanted to scream stop looking at me before your girl gets any ideas and kills me. Then I will never get a shot to be friends with Tay again. He ended up trying to talk to me probably to say sorry or something but I completely ignored him. When we started to leave Paige's boyfriend decided to grab my arm and not let me move. I was really to close to him I could feel him breathing down my back. Then he whispered "I'm sorry about the one time at the game. I have always wanted to break up with her. But honestly I'm afraid she will kill me." He whispered it so softly so only I could hear it. He was making me mad now. He was going to ruin my chance tonight with Paige. Then I turned to him and said " don't be such a baby. How old are you again?" This time his other friends heard what I said. I didn't really care for once and walked away to catch back up with the girls. I heard the guys laughing probably at Paige's boyfriend. I couldn't even remember his name. I think it was Scott.

I was never so glad in my life to go to the salon. I knew the guys would never come here unless they wanted to be made fun of for years. It was time for the nail person to touch my feet. I was practually shaking but I'm sure the lady couldn't tell. I hated people touching my feet even more strangers. I just relaxed and it was over quickly. Before I could remember we were back home. Then when we walked inside Tay's it hit me. We were going to start our scary movie marathon. Courtney wanted to note on which movie to watch to watch first. I just wanted to yell none I want to watch none of them none can I leave now please.

Great was all I thought it was all up to me. I didn't want to watch any of them.
Here's my vote.

"I kinda want to watch the Conjuring first since it mostly comes before Annabelle."

Then they thought about that for a second and agreed with me so I guess our movie was chosen.

I didn't like this movie. It made me think if someone had died in my house that I didn't know about. If there was I would probably move after watching watching that movie. I was so glad when it was over it was 11: 30pm. I wasn't tired many more because scary movies are not something you go to sleep through. Then I realized that there was still many more movies to go.

Movies later

We woke up around 4pm because we didn't get to bed until like 8am. I was scared out of my mind. I almost didn't want to go home I would rather stay here with them really.

When we were about to leave Paige came up to me. "You are really nice and I had fun. Tomorrow sit with us at lunch and we will talk about adding you to our group." This made me feel a little better. To know that I didn't waste my time watching all those scary movies for nothing.
