The next few days were actually fun. I had a few classes with each of the girls. I just now realized that I had a bunch of classes with Sarah. She sat by me a lot and kept me company. People stared at us and I could tell that they were wondering why Sarah would talk to me. Once I heard someone whisper "I don't get why that group added Ally in. She doesn't belong with them."
Sarah also could hear them I know she could. Sarah stormed up to the girl who said that and she yelled at her. She yelled "listen here fish face. Ally is one of my friends and I don't care what you think we wanted her to be friends with us first." Then Sarah came back over to me and sat down. I whispered to her "Sarah, you didn't have to do that. You could of just ignored them." Sarah just smiled at me and said "you are one of my friends I will always protect you."
This is how I thought of everyone. Sarah was a really good friend. She was strong and didn't put up with people for long. Sarah is always there for you when you need her most. Courtney is okay. She always complains about her troubles and I get annoyed sometimes. Other than that she is fun to be around. Tay is like my best friend. She is always there for me and never leaves my side. She comes over to my house and watched movies and Netflix with me. We sit on the couch and that's us, that's how it should be. Paige on the other hand is different. I know the other girls like her an all but I don't see how. To the other girls she puts on her fake smile and pretends everything is alright. With me she shows her true self and if I tell anyone Paige will find out I won't be friends with Tay again. This wasn't going to go well. All I have to do is keep a smile on my face and pretend I don't notice who she is.
The rest of the day went by faster than the morning. After school Tay came over and we watched Soul Surfer. During the movie Tay out of nowhere ask me "so how has D been?" This shocked me so bad I forgot how to breathe. I came up with one answer and that's it "I haven't talk to him and can we not talk about this?" She nodded and went back to watching the movie.
After the movie ended we decided to ride our bikes. We used to ride our bikes all the time. I don't know why but it was something that we just did. So when we road our bikes around the block a few times. Tay doesn't live too far from me if we drove. If we drove it was probably going to take 5 minutes but if we took our bikes on the bike path it would take about 15 to 20 minutes.
We were waiting around in my bedroom watching some stupid show on TV. We were looking through some old year books and our burn books. We found a photo album of D and I. We looked through the album while I tried not to cry. Tay could tell something was up I know she could. Sometimes I feel like she could read my mind. She didn't ask me about it which was surprising actually. I thought she would make me spill everything. Thank god she didn't.
Tay ate dinner with my mom and me. I haven't seen her in a while which was weird. She has been working extra because she knows that she is going to have to pay for college one day. We usually sit down and eat dinner together every Sunday unless something comes up.
"Tay, I feel like I haven't seen you in forever" said Debbie (Ally's mom).
"I know Ms. Smith we have all been very busy" said Tay.
I know she was feeling the weirdness we have everytime. But she ignored it like we always do.
