The audience has stopped their crying.
Jack sees this and unpauses the gift function.
From the screen, a white sphere of energy appears and goes to Ozpin. He touches it and is holding Toguro's sunglasses.
"Why did I receive this?" Ozpin asked.
"A reminder for you and your staff about potential and strength," Jack said.
The Beacon staff understood the gift's meaning. It referred to how their past mistakes in teaching and protecting their students, especially Jaune Arc.
They vowed to do things differently from now on.
"Time to begin the viewing," Jack said.
The screen shows Jaune Branwen in the Beacon Academy garden.
The aroma of the flowers gives Jaune a calm feeling. He needs the scents to relax. He still can't believe it.
It's been four days since Jaune has buried his sensei.
"Jaune," A voice spoke to him.
Jaune turned around to the source.
It was Vernal. Next to her are Leone and Beretta.
Jaune smiles.
"Hey guys," Jaune said.
"Why are you here in this garden?" Beretta asked.
"Toguro told me how when you feel stressed and anxious, the scent of flowers can alleviate those feelings and bring about a sense of peace," Jaune said.
"Still, thinking about what happened?" Vernal asked.
"Yeah. I wished things could have been different, but this how it should have ended," Jaune said.
There was some silence in the air.
"In a way, I am glad I won because if I failed, I'd never been able to see you all again," Jaune said smiling.
Leone, Beretta, and Vernal smile as well. They are happy to have their leader with them.
"Just know if you need anything, we'll be there for you," Vernal said.
"I know," Jaune said.
"Alright, enough of this sappy shit. Let's go get hammered," Leone said smiling.
"I agree. I could go for a drink," Beretta said.
"You coming Jaune?" Vernal asked.
Jaune chuckles.
"Yeah, let's go," Jaune said smiling.
As they are walking away, Jaune hears something.
"Thank you, Jaune," A familiar voice said.
Jaune is surprised by this. He recognized the voice.
Jaune turns around.
"Jaune. Is something wrong?" Vernal asked.
Jaune breaks out of his spell.
He smiles.
He then looks at Vernal.
He kisses her on the cheek, causing her to smile.
Vernal smirks, while those with crushes grumble in jealousy.
