"What if they don't like me?"

"They can't possibly not like you, You have given them a grandchild, plus- they love you, remember. They've known you for a while."

"I mean I guess you're right. Who all is going to be there?" Brooke asked as Clay pulled onto the familiar street, which meant they were close.

"It's just going to be my parents and my younger siblings, Claire and Jake come every other year, but since it's an odd year they are with his family, I think. I don't know why they do what they do but, Chloe and Caleb are the only siblings here."

"Okay that's not too bad," Brooke said turning around in the backseat to look at Cove, "You ready to meet grandma and grandpa?"

"yay!" Cove yelled excitedly.

"Cove, remember no yelling in the car, we only yell outside," Clay said looking through the rearview mirror so he could see her.

"Yell outside," she repeated back.

Clay pulled into the driveway of the oh-so-familiar house and Brooke increasingly became more nervous.

"Hey, Brooke, you are going to do fine, they love you okay," Clay reassured her.

Clay got out of the car and went and got Cove out of her car seat, picking her up and carrying her on his hip. While Brooke did one last check that her makeup looked good, she grabbed the bottle of wine that they had brought as a gift.

"We've got this," Clay said reassuring her once more. He could never admit it to Brooke but he was also very anxious about how this reunion between her and his parents would go.

Walking up to the door, Brooke said, "Do we ring the doorbell or do we walk in, I don't know-"

"You can just ring the doorbell," Clay smiled.
