"That's actually how I met Cove's dad. The moms of our homeroom style class made us all meet up and go bowling. He was really bad at bowling. But that's beside the point," Brooke said smiling looking down at the table.

"This feels dumb but I guess... I just- I don't know. I remember when I had started my first hardcore world on Minecraft and after a week of playing and I died I went over to your house just to see Brooke because I was upset, and I was complaining to you about the Minecraft world, and you told me "Don't give up, You can do it. Day by day." And I thought that you were crazy. But then Brooke and I broke up, and I knew that you were right, and the only way I got through that was day by day. Taking one step forward and even though that it felt like I was taking three steps backward it was still forward. That was the only progress that I could hope for. And now every day I feel like I am getting to take five steps forward, and only one step back," Clay said getting settled by Angie's grave. He was never quite sure why they decided to have her buried in Oregon when Avery lives in Texas and Brooke lives in North Carolina. But when YouTube rewind brought him to Portland for filming, he decided to go to the cemetery and make sure that the flowers he had arranged to be put on the grave every week had actually made it.
"I wanted to let you know that I'm thinking that I want to marry your daughter, well I know I want to marry her I'm just not quite sure how. And if I'm going to get really picky about it, Brooke hates summer. And she's going to want to get pictures taken right after we get engaged for the announcement, and she wouldn't want to do that in the summer, she would want fall or something. And I just - I just want it to be perfect," He said fiddling with the ring he wore on his middle finger.
"Anyways I should tell you about things other than myself. Brooke got promoted and is now coordinating all of the camera people and editors for Jimmy's team, and she is really excited about it. Cove started preschool and she's finally potty-trained which is good. We got moved into our house. Our house, perfect for us. And there is room to grow which is nice, Brooke and I haven't even talked about if we want more kids. I should probably get going though. My flight leaves in a few hours. So I have to get back home, but, I miss you, we all miss you."
